Nothing adds up (chap 32)

Izu's pov

Aizawa's arm started deteriorating. What was his quirk? Oh. Disintegration. Where have I heard such a similar quirk to that? Where! I remember but where! I've seen him before too. But WHERE!

Crusty- "We're here to kill the symbol of peace, have any idea where he is?"

Aizawa pushes crusty off him, his elbow is now down to the muscle being visible. The symbol of peace. They're here to kill AllMight. How? How can they possibly kill him? He's a power house even if weakened. Zawa continued to fight and so did I until the dude seemed to have got pissed and called for someone, well rather something.

Shig- "URGH NOMU"

Fuck. A big monster came out of a portal. He was large, the size of AllMight, had a beak with teeth and an exposed brain. His skin was black and his fingers had claws. It was mindless. Great, a powerful puppet, ain't that nice. Suddenly my question was answered. That's how. That thing will kill AllMight. He went straight to Aizawa so fast I could barely see him, barely. I teleported and pushed Aizawa out the way. A punch landed on the ground making a huge crater. Okay, note to self, don't get hit.

During Zawa's fight he got caught and now his elbow was basically gone. He can't help much. The 'nomu' as they call it got up again. I can't use my quirk to the best of my abilities. I can't show them again. I can't. But is it worth it? I'd rather have what happened repeat itself than them dying. 

That settles it, if I can't save them then I use it. I materialize a knife and it lands in my hands. I can't really use a gun without raising suspicion, I can't use any of my vigilante stuff either. I get into a fighting stance, the ones I've been learning over the week since Aizawa is right next to me. 

I need to control myself, focus on not being anything like Salvare. Look scared but determined. Look distracted. Move like a master of martial arts, not like someone who created a way to survive. Act like a teenager and not one with an adult mind. Act like Akano Shinto. Not like Salvare. And especially not like Izuku Midoriya.

The nomu slowly takes its arm out of the rubble. Some stone jammed into its fist. The blood seeping and hitting the floor. The thing doesn't even act like it's there, it rushes towards us, specifically Zawa. Hell no. I teleport behind it and put my arm around its neck. Fight reckless, not calculative. Be sloppy, not precise.

I grip onto my arm and pull back. It stumbles, and when it does I release it and teleport on its head. I stab my knife down at its neck. I pull back, the knife wound dissipates. Great. Just great. Regeneration. Fist fights are out of the question, I can't exactly get close without dying. 

I run at it once more, not like usual but still quick. I slice its eyes and cheeks. I run around it and slash at its back. The cuts continue to regenerate. It doesn't matter as long as it doesn't die. I run at him again, this time he has an arm pulled back for a punch. I slide under his legs and slash his backside once more. Don't make a pattern. The second I start making it easy to catch me is the second I die. 

I teleport behind it on the ground. It swings its arms back and I duck last second. Its fist grazed my cheek giving me a small cut. I cut its tendons at the back of its ankles. It falls to the floor for a bit. I get in front and continue to cut. I don't have the power to kill this thing, so I just need to wait for the backup I called. 

I cut it's legs, arms, chest, back, neck, face and anywhere I can reach. Then I got in front and it stepped back. Before I could do anything it punches me, and fast. I skid across the ground and into the fountain. I get right back up. I knew not to get hit but damn that hurt like a lot. That crust guy starts getting irritated.
