Izu's pov
We ended up teasing him and just talking for another hour before Miko (Nakamiko) had to go. He said since John has accidentally called him brother before I should just call him Uncle Miko/Nakimiko. I gave him the nickname Miko and I could have sworn he clenched his chest and wiped a tear in his eyes.
I get paid in the hours I work, what I get done, and how quick. For example I have set amount of pay hourly, if I complete multiple things correctly that day the pay has an additional tip in a way for the number I did. If I finish a piece quickly and correctly, that's another additional tip. With this as my payment I can't really tell what the amount will be.
I do tend to make a lot of money from this job though so I can't complain, but I can't work here full time every day so I have another job. Tomorrow is Sunday, I don't have mechanic that day so I set up my schedule with the convenience store. I have the rest of the day to do whatever I please until sundown. Might as well train and search for parts in dumps and stuff. You know what they say 'another man's trash is another man's treasure' I make siad trash into treasure, and I don't plan on throwing it anytime soon.
I get to the trash heap we call Dagobah beach. And start picking up anything metal. I grab a large ripped bag and search for a needle and thread, to my luck there's a pin cushion with a bunch of sewing needles in. I grab it and rip a thread off some cloth I found and stitch up the bag. I start putting in all the small useful things I found. Inside are torn clothes, small machines, cans, glass bottles, wire (a lot of wire I found a whole roll), stuffed animals, small broken toys, Christmas lights, jewelry, pills, and more. I know I grabbed a bunch of random things but I'll show you how it's useful in a sec.
I grab a small cart I left in the corner of the beach and start putting in bigger things like wood, furniture, metal, engines, broken machines, and lastly a computer. I finally flipping found a computer to use! It seems to have been dropped here recently, it isn't in bad condition either, maybe someone just bought an upgrade or something. It was strange how perfect it was, it only had a few scuffs and scratches, the wires were disconnected and there was something stuck in the USB port but other than that it was as if it was new. The model wasn't even that old too, weird but oh well.
After my jump haul I got home and started sorting through my finds. The piles consisted of things for kids, household items, repair items, metal, machines, and materials. The stuff for kids would be repaired and left in that abandoned apartment I have. I thought I'd work on the easy stuff first, for example cleaning and sowing. I grabbed all the stuffed animals and took out all the stuffing, I put the cotton in a basket and cleaned the bear.
I put it to dry over a small fire and repeated the process with the others. Once dried I simply re-stuffed them and sewed them shut with some thread and needles. Now the small toys, there were some cars, robots, dolls, and play sets.
These would be more difficult since the metal ones would take a lot of time and the others were made of plastic, something I couldn't fix with what I had now. I put those aside considering I was short on time. I went through the little trinkets and such and broke apart the ones I didn't have a need to fix. This process went on till sunset, breaking, sorting, cleaning, repairing, dying you know the usual.
The little crack I had that showed the time of day turned to orange. I packed up my stuff and set it aside then changed into my vigilante outfit. I teleported to another one of my hideouts and started patrol.
Zawa's pov (surprise!-affoa)
I sighed into my coffee mug as I finished yet another cup. I've been after this same vigilante for months yet I still haven't even seen them. They're always 10 steps ahead of me and it's starting to piss me off. I don't even know the fucking gender! I haven't been on the same roof as them, they always leave buildings between us, then plop down in an alleyway and disappear. Each alleyway they drop into has multiple exits, I can't catch up by the time I get there. Seeing them is a one in a blue moon kind of deal, and they only happen when you run towards a scream to see them fleeing the scene!
