L- "AKIHIKO"

They both look at each other wide eyed. What could that witch possibly want from them? Sorry, not witch, that's an insult to them. Akihiko gulps down a lump in the back of his throat and steadily gets up. Izuku follows right behind him, giving him space. When they walk out they see a couple holding a child our age.

The woman has lavender hair with brown eyes and freckles. Her husband has black hair and purple eyes, his skin is a pale white. The child has gravity defying dark purple hair with the dark purple eyes to match. They looked like a nice family, and the boy seemed happy with them, key word "seemed" Izuku could tell something was up. Akihiko stepped up in front of the family. Lunica smiled and spoke.

L- "The shinso family over here would like to adopt you Akihiko! Isn't that great?"

Akihiko began to tear up for the second time that day. Izuku was around the corner of the wall, hidden. He also began to cry. He was happy his friend was having a family, so he hid that terrible feeling down in his chest. He was suspicious of the family, the boy didn't want to be there, he was smiling yes, but it looked so fake a baby could tell. He had only 1 visible bruise, but he was wearing long sleeved clothing. It was hot outside, so why would he be wearing that? Another red flag shot up. He could see it, the neglect, the abuse, the scars. Not visible to the eye, but clear as day to the damaged.

Yes that's right, that's what Izuku was, damaged. Damaged and broken beyond repair. He was in tears, his friend was leaving him. He was going to get abandoned again. These thoughts made his untrust of the family hide itself. He had a bad feeling, but being a 5 year-old kid with abandonment issues he pushed it down without knowing. He turned the corner, Akihiko met his eyes, he couldn't handle it so Izuku ran. Ran as far from the family and Akihiko as he could, the woods were far. Then it happened. He lost control of his quirk.

He teleported away, the sense of escape swallowing him. He landed in his old home living room. The smell of blood still there, the broken glass made itself apparent with its shine. He broke down, collapsed on the bloodied and dirty carpet and cried. Cried until his lungs and voice gave out, cried until the tears wouldn't come anymore, cried until his vision started going black.

He woke up to the morning shine of sunlight. He got up quick, the memories of last night coming in at full. His tears were gone, no more liquid he could pass off. He ran out of the house and to the orphanage. Teleporting to the tree in which they lived. He jumped down and ran inside, looking frantically for his brother. The search made him go through the house twice and more yet he couldn't find his friend. He entered his room to see it barren. No clothes, toys, blankets, posters, anything. It was completely cleaned, the only thing left was a note on the bed addressed to him. The note was stained with tears and had sloppy handwriting.

Dear Izuku,

I'm sorry I had to leave. I'm sorry I broke the promise to you I just made. I'm sorry I couldn't be the family you needed. No matter what we're brothers through and through.... Right? Please don't be sad I'm gone, you'll get through this. We'll be pro heroes together when we're older. If we can I'll visit you. Train that quirk of yours till you're better than me, than the world. I hope to one day be as strong as you. The boy who has everything against them but doesn't give up. The boy who kept me and everyone alive. The boy who helped me through so much without me realizing. The boy who has no self-confidence but will help others no matter what. You Izuku Midoriya are my hero. I wish I could be like you, so until then, I'll stay strong for you. I guess this is goodbye, my dear brother, good bye. Stay strong for me will ya?

Signing off,

Akihiko Midoriya-shinso

Future pro-hero Fellum

Izuku was sobbing again. He was choking out his cries in pain. His friend left. He had a family now, did that mean that he'd forget his brother? They made those hero names together. He was gone, and Izuku didn't get to say goodbye. He didn't get to warn- wait! Warn him! Izuku ran out the door and searched around for the memory twins.

I- "KASTIEL, KASSANDRA, I NEED YOU"

He was searching around the halls quickly. Only for a stampede of children to come over to him.

"Where were you?"

"Are you okay?"

"Your eyes are puffy"

"What happened?"

I- "WHERE ARE KASSY AND KAS"

Two small hands rose together. Izuku pushed through the children and grabbed the hands of the twins. He rushed out to the backyard and sat them down far away.

I- "Go through my memories of when I saw the Shinso family. That and only that. In fact, Kassy bring it to life."

The twins looked at each other weirdly but complied nonetheless. They both put their hands to Izuku's head and the scene started coming to life. The adults gripping the child tightly, the feeling of uneasiness radiating from Izuku. The bruises that caught Izuku's eyes, the shaking of the child, the clothing unfit for the weather. The look from the parents, the fake smiles and happiness. The tiredness soothing out of the purple headed boy. All of it. Every little detail reshowed itself. The twins gasped in shock, they didn't notice the signs, but were overflowed with the feelings of dread coming from the memory. This is what Izuku was feeling. He was scared, hurt, sad, uncomfortable, uneasy, and more. All the negative emotions began to get too much for the girl. She quickly let go.

Kasy- "Izu, what was that?"
I- "I umm wasn't in a good home before or during this. So I can tell when something is off. I was so overtaken with my sadness and abandonment that I pushed down that feeling. Whatever it is I know that Akihiko isn't in a good home."

Kas- "Sandra, show him my memories of after he left."

Kasy- "You sure Kastiel? You don't like me going through them."

Kas- "I'm sure now do it"

Kassandra gave one more look, asking for reassurance only for Kastiel to nod. She hesitantly put her hands on his head. The scene once again coming to life as if they were there. The family gave opening arms to Akihiko. He smiled through the tears and hugged them back. They asked him what his quirk was and he answered. They looked at eachother unimpressed and disgusted but quickly switched back. It didn't go unnoticed by Kastiel though. He also started having feelings of untrust.

Then they grabbed hold of Akihiko's hand and he flinched. That got Izuku feeling guilty. He knew but he couldn't handle his emotions. They signed the papers and Akihiko started to search for something, well someone. That someone being Izuku. He called his name out repeatedly, earning nothing. He wiped his tears that wouldn't stop falling and packed his stuff, writing a note and leaving it on the bed.

A- "Sorry, I'll miss you"

He whispered out in a broken voice. He placed it down and finally stopped crying. He looked so depressed it broke Izuku's heart. Akihiko looked back at the note and smiled. He put on a smile no matter how fake.

A- "I'll keep smiling no matter what, that's because it's what you do, Izuku. You smile so others feel better, you smile no matter how hard. I want to be like you, I want to smile like you, I want to be strong like you. I want to be like you, a hero. So I'll stay strong, I'll smile, and I won't let anyone get to me. Good bye."

Akihiko looked up to the window and smiled as another tear escaped his eyes. He looked so broken, yet his smile reached ear to ear. The scene ended and faded away. Izuku was once again crying, holding the note close to his chest. He looked up to the sky and smiled while choking on his own sobs.

I- "I'll stay strong, for you."

Izuku stood up, shaking and a bit wobbly. He looked down at the twins who were now also in tears, and held out his hands for them. They grabbed on and he pulled them up. He hugged them tight.

I- "T-thank you. I needed that. Thank you so much you two"
