Consistent (vigilante deku)

Guess who's not getting adopted (chap 4)

"I- I have a quirk...."

Izuku looked around to see all the kids from the orphanage with him. He tried to tell where he was, they looked to be on a rooftop, in Mustafa. All the kids looked confused and most of the little ones started crying. Izuku was freaking out, but his rational side came into play and he pushed away his emotions.

I- "ALRIGHT EVERYONE GATHER HERE AND STAY AWAY FROM THE EDGE!"

Everyone turned to me and ran forward. Little and big kids came to the center of the building to Izuku.

I- "Okay, older ones I need you to take care of the little ones crying. Everyone stay close, we have to go back, but we can't if everyone's spread apart."

'Okay Izuku, think think! How did you do it and how do you un-do it! Okay I was crying, alone, in a tree. Then i was thinking about everyone and how i wanted to get away but with them, and now we're here. Luckily Lunica is sleeping at this time, she'll wake up soon though. Wait! I said I wanted to get away, I wanted to escape with them and we did. It's my quirk so I could try going back.'

He broke out of his trance to see Akihiko staring at him in shock. He was muttering, and Aki heard every single word.

A- "THIS WAS YO-"

Izuku quickly covered Aihiko's mouth with his hand. And shook his head. He led him far away from the others and released his mouth.

I- "Don't tell anyone."

A- "What? That you have a quirk? Why didn't you say anything? Why do you want me to keep it a secret?"

I- "Because, quirkless kids don't get adopted."

A- "Izuku.... You don't want to get adopted? You don't want a family?"
I- "Dummy... you're my family.... I don't want to leave any of you, and adults scare me, I don't want to be near any,"

A- "hmm okay I'll keep it a secret. But don't you know how quirkless get treated?"

I- "Yeah. I know better than anyone."

A- "Okay okay fine! But if anyone hurts you cus of it I'm fighting em"

I- "Okay, deal. Now go and help them calm down while I figure this out."

A- "Okay."

With that Akihiko left as Izuku continued to try and figure it out.

'So it looks like my quirk can teleport people, maybe if I focus hard enough on the orphanage I can get everyone back there.'

And that's what he did. A couple minutes past and Lunica was bound to wake up sooner or later. The pressure and fear was getting to him as he continued to try and try again. He got scared, scared of what would happen if they weren't back, scared for the children, so he wanted to go back, no he needed to. Just like that they were all in their own rooms. He did it. Izuku did it. He quickly went from room to room telling everyone it was either a dream or to not speak about it to those who knew better. 

He rushed to his room and collapsed onto the multiple sheets stacked up. He couldn't believe it, he had a quirk! But what was it? He wanted to escape this place, go somewhere, anywhere without Lunica, and then next thing you know he was on a rooftop with all the other children. Was his quirk teleportation, and it just happened to appear the second he said that? Or was it something different? After a while of thinking and pacing around his room he finally got tired enough to sleep.

-Time skip of like idk 3 hours who needs sleep cus i don't-

Izuku woke up to the sound of yelling, Lunica, who else. This time seemed different. She was yelling in delight more than hate, saying something along the lines of "he can finally go! He can go!" Izuku knew who she was talking about and it scared him to the core. He didn't want to leave, especially the kids to her. 

He got up and cleaned his whole room, he started heading down after his name was screamed through the walls. He came downstairs to see a woman and presumably her husband. They looked sweet and kind with their smiles but Izuku has seen enough fake faces to be able to tell. They were trouble. A lot of trouble.

H- "Hello, my name is Hanako."

S- "And my name is Sakura. Pleasure to meet you Izuku."

The woman held out her hand to me, her smile not faltering as she bent down. He shook her hand back, afraid of the consequences if he declined.

L- "This nice couple are friends of mine and would like to take you in."

I- "But...."

L- "But what."

I- "You would want a quirkless kid?"

The couple looked shocked as Lunica internally screamed at the boy.

S- "Ah well, we have to go to our appointment, we already waited so long for you to come down."

H- "Yes we didn't expect to stay for so long."

L- "Wait, are you sure? He doesn't fuss and he's clearly very capable."

S- "Honestly Luni, what in the hell were you thinking, a quirkless kid? Are you crazy? Who would want that?"

Lunica gritted her teeth as the couple left. She was fuming as she looked over to Izuku. She raised her hand but then noticed all the watchful eyes and instead stretched the arm out. Great save am I right? By this one action most of the children now knew what she did to Izuku. Although the little ones around Izuku's age and younger didn't notice, the older ones all connected the dots. The big kids started clenching their fists just thinking about how Izuku was treated without them knowing. Alas, they couldn't do anything as Izuku's voice rang in their heads from the other night.

I- "No matter what you see Lunica do to me, do NOT take any actions, understood?"

No one understood what he meant by that, but now they did. They were faced with the option, take action despite Izuku's orders, or listen and let their friend be hurt. They all came to the same conclusion and took a step forward, only for them to be stopped in their tracks by Izuku himself. He held his hand behind his back with his hand open motioning for them to stop.

I- "I'm sorry Lunica, I didn't know that's how they'd react. I won't do it again, I promise! The other kids must have missed their chance because of me, huh? I'm glad they were in the other room and didn't see that."

Izuku smiled up at Lunica who flinched. Izuku was telling her they were there, reminding her, dare I say, threatening her. Lunica took the hint and cleared her throat.

L- "Y-yes well that's okay little Izuku. Okay children, you can come out now!"

She yelled in a sickeningly sweet voice. The ones who now knew the truth stayed silent until Izuku spoke up again.

I- "Hey everyone! What's the matter you all seem so dull"

He pouted while crossing his arms. He opened one eye and gave them all a look. They quickly took the message and said hi to Lunica. Lunica told them to go off and play as she made dinner. They all left and went outside to surround Izuku.

"IZU WHAT WAS THAT??"
"W-was she r-really going t-to h-hit you"

"Why did you stop us?"

"Are you okay?"

"You're not quirkless are you?"

"She raised her han-"

I- "ENOUGH!"

His voice rang in their ears. Silence fell upon all of them as quickly as possible. They had never heard Izuku yell, and they didn't want to ever again.
