Turn myself in? why not? (Chap 24)

Izu's pov

I got into my vigilante outfit and made my way to the city, I didn't mind heroes catching up that much anymore. Of course I'd still escape and all but I don't make it a priority. The night was fairly peaceful until I heard multiple screams all irrupt at the same time. I ran to the closest one nearby, it was a little girl with red hair and green eyes, surrounded by 2 men. 

I jumped down aiming at the guy's head only for him to dodge and grab my ankle. With a big swing my back collided with the concrete wall, making me cough out spit. I wavered back up, a bit wobbly but I shook it off. He wasted no time in trying to attack me. 

He hung his right arm back, when he got up to me and swung I dodged to the side and pulled the same move he did. I grabbed his arm and twisted it behind his back, then I kicked the back of his knees making him fall. I bashed his head into the concrete wall and he was knocked out. Out came the other who was trying to grab the small girl. 

By the time I was finished he had a foot inches to my face. I couldn't dodge in time so I put up my arms and blocked it. I went down and kicked his feet, he fell on his back. I got on top of him and started punching aimlessly. 

Now I admit I shouldn't be doing this. I shouldn't be getting so aggressive when the situation doesn't call for it, but I don't know. There's just this anger whenever I see grown men after children. 

He was obviously out cold, he had a bloody nose and a busted lip not to mention all the bruises that would come. Shit I really went too far. I tied him and his friend to a poll and treated his wounds then went to the little girl. She was curled in a ball against the wall shivering.

I- "Hiya missy. Can you hear me?"

She nodded.

I- "Okay, the bad men are sleeping over there, it's okay to come out now they can't hurt you."

She lifted her head and looked around. She saw the two knocked out guys against a metal pole and started bawling her eyes out. She rushed and grabbed into me.

G- "T-they wanted t-to take me a-and sell me and and and *hic*"

Human trafficking? Again? This makes way too many times I've caught people trying. Something is up and I don't like it. I could bring it up with Tsukauchi and Eraser but I don't want them discovering who I am. Still human trafficking has always been an issue but something just doesn't feel right. My guts are usually right so I have to do something. I held onto the girl tightly, rubbing her back in circles and telling her it's okay. I heard a sound above me, but the girl was more important.

I- "If you're gonna fight me. Come down. If not, go away. I mean it."

I let out a small growl that made the girl flinch. I held onto her tighter. And whispered.

I- "shhh it's okay I won't let whoever it is hurt you okay?"

There was a thud behind me. I took out one of my knives and held it behind me. Showing it to the person but making sure the child had no clue.

EH- "kid I'm not going to hurt you or her."

I- "oh. It's you. Here to accuse me of crimes I didn't commit? Or capture me?"

The girl shivered in my arms. I went to her ear and whispered to her so Eraser couldn't hear.

I- "hey, he's not a bad guy, but he's after me. No need to be scared he won't hurt you. I need you to go to him and explain everything, okay?"

She started crying even harder. Screaming "NO" repeatedly. Okay guess I'm staying here. I picked her up and she held me even tighter.

I- "she doesn't want to let go. I need to leave but will you count this as kidnapping? Most likely ummmm."

EH- "you could always come in. Give yourself up."

She wouldn't leave my arms. She was too frightened and scared by everyone else. Was this my only option? I needed her to talk. I signed. Fine. Let's hope it's worth it.

I- "Fine let's go."

He looked surprised by my answer. The man so void of emotion who didn't even act surprised when villains get the jump on him was just shocked that I have myself up easily. What does this man think of me? I started walking. I looked back and he still had that dumb look on his face. I sighed.

I- "You coming? Or are you going to sit there and look stupid all night?"

He cleared his throat and started walking with me. After some time we got there. I waltzed in as if I was a cop working there. The look on everyone's face was amazing. I wish I could take pictures- oh wait I can. I snapped a couple pictures. I swear at least 3 of them spit/dropped their coffee as I walked by to Tsukauchi's office. I knocked and he opened it only to pass out. Did I do that? I looked over to Eraser.

I- "This doesn't count as assaulting an officer does it?"

He shook his head and sighed for the 30th time that night. I put the girl in one hand and picked up Tsukauchi with the other. I put him on his couch and sat down. The girl was calling down as I continued to run her back and shoulders. I sat in a seat and put her on my lap facing me. I played around with her and after a while she laughed. The sense of pride I just felt from the adorableness that is this cutey. We messed around a bit until Tsukauchi woke up. He screamed "SALVARE" then searched around locking eyes with me. I smirked under my mask.

I- "The one and only"

T- "I- how did you get here?"

I- "Through the front door."

He gave me a 'no shit' look and rubbed the arch of his nose.

G- "I know that. I meant what led you here?"

I- "oh. This little critter in my arms. I didn't want to drop her off here where she's having a panic attack at the sheer inability you all have to talk with children."

EH- "Fair point"

I- "It's not like I'm staying here though. I'm not turning myself in, more like an escort."

Tsukauchi sighed. He got up and cuffed me, it's not like I was surprised. Handcuffs were nothing but these were quirk canceling ones didn't make a difference to a boy who's been living quirkless for 10 years but okay. I chuckled at the display evidently confusing the man in front.

T- "What's so funny?"
I- "It's just that pfft these won't do anything"

T- "What do you mean"
I- "In a sense, I'm a quirkless vigilante."

Tsukauchi's eyes widened. I was telling the truth. I technically am not using a quirk, and I was diagnosed quirkless and treated like one for most of my life. Everyone thinks I'm quirkless apart from Akihiko, Uncle John, and one other. Well no one but them knew Izuku Midoriya wasn't quirkless, Akano Shinto on the other hand was a different story. Aizawa looked over at the detective expectantly.

T- "He-he's telling the truth."

EH- "Well that is umm unexpected. Wait so you were telling the truth back then?"
I- "Mhmm! So you can have these back since I haven't broken a law."

I handed over the cuffs to Tsukauchi who just looked baffled. Eraser held the same face. I'd be lying if I said I didn't find it amusing.

I- "You know, I'm only here for this little missy. After this I'm as good as gone."

T- "Okay how about one question?"

I- "Fine. I can tell you're dying of curiosity."

T- "Why did you become a vigilante."
