I- "Don't do anything. I mean it."

All of them were baffled to say the least. Why did he want to keep his abuse a secret? Well if it was abuse in the first place. They all started asking for answers, if it was really true.

I- "No. I'm fine, and so is everyone else. So don't do anything you'll regret okay guys?"

At this Kassandra stood up. She wasn't having it. She walked over to Izuku and took his hand telling everyone to follow after. Izuku was confused but then remembered her quirk. He yanked his hand back, only for Kassy to grab it back and pull him down. She whispered

Kasy- "Either we go somewhere she can't see us, or I'm doing this to you right now."

Izuku finally gave in and walked along with them. When they reached a clearing Izuku sighed and sat down. Kassandra walked over and touched his head.

Kasy- "Everyone ready?"

With a couple nods, 2 people started forming from thin air. One being Lunica, the other being Izuku. Then they started speaking.

-flashback start-

L- "Why are you even alive? A useless child like you who their parents didn't even want. Probably quirkless, which we both know is for the best. You don't deserve a good family, in fact I'll make sure of it."

She held him by the hair and slapped him hard across the face, his small body flying to the wall. She then hit her heel next to his face and smiled down at him.

L- "You escape or tell anyone, and the other kids will take your place. Who would it be first? Akihiko? The kasady twins? Meruem? Kareem? I wonder."

Her face was no longer sweet and gentle, her features were twisted into a cynical smile. Disgust and hatred in her eyes and she moved her heel to his chest, pressing down.

L- "So, Midoriya will you stay?"

I- "Yes."

L- "Good boy."

And with that she left the room. The boy had blood dripping down his face, and bruises all over. He took off his shirt only to show the multiple bruises and cuts in the middle of healing. He used the shirt to wipe away his blood and then proceeded to put a bandaid on his head and cheek. He changed and went to bed. Life nowhere to be seen in his eyes or movements. He woke up to the sound of Kassandra walking, he sat up and smiled at her as she came in. The boy from a couple of hours ago was nowhere to be seen, there stood the boy they all knew, smiling and helping out the girl with a candle.

-flashback end-

Kassy quickly removed her hand, making the figures disappear. She brought her now shaking palm up to her mouth as she stepped back from the now gone illusion. How did she not know? How come she couldn't realize that it just happened. How could she have kept it a secret if it was that bad. She tripped on a stone and fell back onto her butt. She started tearing up, hell half of them were already in tears, and the rest were fighting them back. Akihiko was silent and still, too still. When he heard the thud he snapped out of it and ran to Izuku, holding him by the shoulders, shaking him.

A- "Why didn't you say anything?!?!"

An older kid by the name of Meruem got up and took him off of the green child.

M- "Didn't you hear? She threatened us. That's why."

His tone was laced with sadness, it fell so flat on everyone's ears compared to the contrast of his normal cheerful tone. Kareem, also an older kid with the age of 11 came over. His voice was venomous, filled with spite and hatred that laid thick in the air.

Kar- "How many chances."

I- "W-what?"

Kar- "How many chances did you have at running away?"

Izuku looked down, not wanting to answer the question. He didn't want them to all feel guilty. In truth he had a chance every day, whether it be night or day, he could manage to get away. Now with a quirk which he doesn't understand yet, he could get all of them out of there. His now 1 or 2 chances a day to leave became every second. Kareem spoke again.

Kar- "Izuku. Answer the fucking question."

I- "D-daily"

M- "What? What do you mean daily?"

I- "I mean I could have left anytime I wanted to. At night, in the day, afternoon. Not only that she wouldn't be able to catch me, nor would anyone find me."

Kast- "I-Izuku.... Why didn't you go."

I- "Cus she would have hurt you. Even though most likely not, that isn't a chance I am willing to take. So all of you drop it."

Izuku got up and walked away, leaving all of them stunned. He wanted them to not do anything? They couldn't call the police, they wouldn't believe them, and that'd only get Izuku in more trouble. They weren't nearly powerful enough to stop Lunica, considering her quirk was lullaby. They were stumped. None of them were nearly smart enough to do any of this, only one even close to being capable was Izuku, and well you know the deal with that.

They all let their tears die down then returned to the house, with izuku doing the laundry yet again. The kids didn't have the heart to talk about it, nor do anything in fact. They all wisped away to their rooms to sit in their solitude and let the new information sink in. Izuku was getting abused, and they let it happen. Well that was what they thought at least, they knew it wasn't but that didn't make the guilt looming over them take a hike.

Izuku finished and also went to his room, trying to figure out his quirk. He didn't want it randomly coming out. He didn't want to be discovered using it. He closed the door and sat in his bed. He focused, focused on a place, anywhere that he could go, focus on it and get there, teleport (?) there.

And that's what he did, he magically appeared somewhere, but not where he was focusing, in fact, he appeared in his dear old home. He tensed at the sight. The broken wall from when his mother left him, the skid marks on the floor from her suitcase, the broken picture frames with him in it, the messy room from a quick getaway, the broken bottles from late night drinking, and lastly, blood stains. The dried blood on the carpet, flaky and almost black with how long it's been. Was no one living here? He assumed that they would sell the place, but they didn't.

He checked around, the water and the lights, even the phones. Turns out the bills were no longer getting paid, but the house was still in their names. He walked into his old room, it was barren with ripped posters and broken glass pieces. Now his mother wasn't abusive, well unless she was drunk. Izuku was able to tell how much she drank from the intoxicated smell that wreaked from her mouth, if he was lucky and it was only small drinks, he could hide away in his room and not disturb her. Other times he wasn't so lucky.

Inko worked, and when she was sober she would neglect Izuku in every way possible. She'd leave food if she had extra but he'd have to mainly take care of himself otherwise. Although, he'd take his mother over Lunica any day. At least his mother didn't lie about her feelings or put up a fake face. At least his mom didn't hit him every night and threaten anyone he cared about. At least his mom didn't make him do things for everyone without even getting fed in return. At least his mother was honest. Lunica wasn't.

The woman abused her power and status, would threaten anyone with no remorse, would have a 4 year old child be a servant without trying to keep said boy alive. Lunica was manipulative, a psychopath, crazy, and most of all, a liar. It would be hypocritical to call her a liar and ignore his own deceiving, but what could he do? He needed to lie, to protect his family.... Family, is that what he started thinking of them? Wouldn't they eventually abandon him too? After all, nothing is consistent.

The boy knew that lesson all too well.

What he needed, what he wanted more than anything.

Was the one thing he couldn't hold onto.

Consistence.
