BELLAS POV:

about 2 months go by and cynthia and dads relationship was getting serious. although cynthia starting to physically and mentally abuse me. dad thinks we are spending time together when she is beating me up and insulting me. but i don't tell anyone and i'm not planning to but i really want to.

"hey honey cynthia invited you to come over at hers cause she wants to spend time with you"  dad said popping his head from the door.

oh no.

she's gonna beat me up.

"um dad can i just stay home" i said as i feel a stomachache.

"you don't want to spend time with my girlfriend!" dad said shocked.

"uh- i- okay" i said holding my stomach from some this odd ache.

*tome skip*

i walk into cynthias apartment.

"you!" i heard cynthias voice yelling as i flinched.

"oh come hereeee! i'm so fucking angry i'm gonna let it out on you bitch!" she yells as i felt a punch on my stomach.

just after one punch i feel dizzy. she slaps me and beats me up while my body gives up.

was all i heard until i saw everything black.

i wake up on cynthias floor.

my head hurts.

my stomach hurts.

my nose is bleeding.

i try to get up slowly making my way to the bathroom to wash my face and hands.

my nose stops bleeding and i call dad to pick me up.

when dad arrives and i get in the car he says "did you have fun?" with a smile on his face.

i smile and nodded "yeah".

"i'm glad you guys are getting closer" dad said driving with a smile on his face.

"she makes you happy doesn't she?" i ask.

as dad is still smiling "y-yeah she does".

when we get home i needed to use the bathroom so i rush upstairs.

when i go sit down i look down at my underwear and see blood.

"oh hey bella what's up?" aunt maiya answers immediately.

"i think i just got my period *whispers* " i say nervously.

"oh my god i'm on my way!" she said sounding oddly excited.

"do you have any pads or tampons in your bathroom?" she asked.

"no" i replied scared.

"okay bye i'm on my way" she said hanging up.

when she finally arrives she knocks on my door.

"bella you there?" i heard aunt maiyas voice.

"y-yes" i replied.

" un which one is your undies drawer?"

"top left"

"okay what abt the pants- oh nvm found them"

she gives me my clothes and a pad.

"okay so now just put the two wing thingys under" aunt maiya says on the other side of the door.

"okay i think i got it" i said.

when i came out of the bathroom i immediately go up to aunt maiya and hug her.

"oh bella"

"i was so scared i didn't know what to do so i-" i said so fast that aunt maiya interrupted me "it's okay bella i'm glad you called me".

"you have to sit down cause i have a list of things you can eat and can't on your period" aunt maiya says as i have a shocked look on my face "your not allowed to eat specific stuff?"

"yeah *chuckles* but your gonna be fine" she said as i nodded.

"okay so no sodas on your first 3 days cause it makes your cramps worst"

"it's better to not eat cold things on the first 3 days cause they are the worst. so no ice cream bella be careful and drink more hot drinks"

"no ice cream?"

"*chuckles* yes no ice cream"

she gave me some tips to help me with "cramps" ig?

"oh it's hot here imma take my hoodie off" i said taking off my hoodie but not realizing that the shirt under is lifting so half of my stomach was shown.

"you've lost so much weight-"

"oh. my. god bella what's this?" aunt maiya says as i  immediately put down my shirt.

"no bella what the heck is that?" she said lifting my shirt as i quickly pull the shirt down.

"i'm not leaving until i get an explanation on what i say on your stomach" aunt maiya said.

"what do you mean?" i asked playing dumb.

"all those bruises and red marks on your stomach"

"ohhh i feel down the stairs the other day" i lied.

"nice lie" she said.

"WHATS UP MY G!" uncle kai barges in.

"kai leave i'm not in the mood rn" aunt maiya says.

"sheesh calm down bruh" uncle kai says coming in and closing the door.

"tell me now" aunt maiya says looking me deep in the eye as if she was staring at my soul.

"what's going on?" uncle kai asked confused.

"come over here" aunt maiya said as uncle kai was behind her.

she raises my shirt but i couldn't stop her.

she showed him my red marks, bruises and a few cuts.

"oh my fucking god who did that?" uncle kai said now pissed.

"that's what i'm trying to find out" aunt maiya tells him.

"bella if you don't tell us who did it i'm telling your father" uncle kai says.
