BELLAS POV:

something felt off.

"don't answer the door!" i said to uncle kairi as him and dad look at me weirdly.

"what? it's probably the cops going to update us" uncle kairi says as he started to open the door i ran upstairs.

i went to dads room and searched for any phone.

i found his phone charging. i grabbed it and called 911.

i told them about chase and they said they are on their way.

hiding on the floor next to dads bed i hear some noises.

footsteps approaching

please don't be chase please don't be chase please don't be chase.

i hoped.

the door opens revealing chase with a gun pointed at my dads back.

i quickly throw the phone under dads bed but still on the call with the police.

"well hello bella" chase says smirking.

so many flashbacks and horrible "memories" appear in my head.

i froze.

i couldn't move from the fear inside me.

the nights of him flashed through my head.

"come with me or your dad will get hurt" he says.

i look at dad and back at him.

i stand up.

"no bella-" dad says being cut off by chase "shut up"

i walk up to him as he lets go of dad and grabs my arms harshly as i flinch.

i look at dad and move my eyes from him to under the bed.

i hope he understood as i said "i love you dad" to make it more believable for him.

as we left i walk downstairs with him as i see all my uncles raising their hands behind them.

once we get to the front door i kick him where it hurts and push him to the floor and take the gun away from him.

i ran upstairs as my uncles took care of him and hugged dad as he was on the phone with the police.

i hear the sirens. i smile and sigh of relief.

still hugging dad i was still in shock and fear.

i walk downstairs with dad as the police were handcuffing chase.

"i will always come back to hurt you!" he says.

"come on hudson your going to jail" the female police officer says taking him outside.

everyone in the room sighed of relief but i was scared.

trying to act normal i pretended i was fine and went on with my day.

*hours later*

i was watching tv alone at the living room. i felt paranoid the whole day. i was laying down on the couch as i heard some noises. i sat up and looked around.

i didn't see anything.

i turned around to continue watching tv as dad was standing infront of me.
