The next day, I received three missed calls from him. Right after our
meeting at the studio, I tried to reach out for his number. It was simply
ringing. I just assumed he might be also in the middle of a meeting. But, as I
walked towards my office, I feel something strange around me. Everyone‟s
eyes are on me. I looked at my back but I saw no one behind me. As soon as
I open my door, I saw Dilann standing with his eyes wandering inside my
office.
“You also have sand in here?” He said casually.
“You didn‟t inform me that you will visit today.” I said.
“I tried to but I think you‟re busy enough not to pick up your phone.” He
said teasingly.
“I am.” I simply replied to him.
“Can you come out first? I will introduce you to my team.” I said.
Everyone is teasing us about our real status. Right after I introduced him,
they began teasing us that we look good together.
So, I walked silently inside and just nodded to how my introduction to a
friend turned out.
“Dale, are you busy next week? Would you like to join me for an out of town
trip? Let‟s hang out.” He excitedly asked out of nowhere.
“I‟m sorry. I have already approved an appointment.” I sadly replied. Well,
it makes him sad as well. And I also want to hang out with him this time.
“Is it possible if I could join you? Just like last time?” He tried to convince
me to say yes.
“I don‟t know.”[laughs] I simply laughed at him.
“Please. I could be your assistant if you want.”.
He continuously convinced me even until he drives me back to my place. So,
I decided to include him again in my travel.
“Okay.” I simply approved.
“Okay?” He‟s quite amazed.
“Would you like me to take it back?” I tried teasing him.
“No! I heard it right!” He said.
The next day, he emptied his one hour afternoon schedule for the session.
We prepared the presentations and he take over the photography session
which I‟m planning to hand over to my camera man. He‟s very into it maybe
because it‟s one of his interests as well.
Three days after, we got our plane tickets. We traveled a day before the scheduled appointment. We stayed in the hotel that the school booked for
us.
