MY NAME IS DILANN.

"It's been almost twelve years but we haven't found each other. I have found you but still it feels empty. Would I still pursue you?"

I was in my deep thoughts when suddenly my phone rings and it's Dale.

"Dale. Did you arrive safe?" I asked her. I wish I could stay a while ago as she was waiting for her driver but I'm still feeling dizzy. So, I head up first than her.

"Yeah! I arrived just now." She said over the phone.

"Why so late? I arrived almost an hour in my flat." I said.

"I decided to visit the studio before I go to my place. That's why I arrived late." She explained. She's really workaholic.

"I see. Did you grab your dinner? Don't forget to take your meds before you sleep, okay?" I reminded her.

"Sure. Thanks" She replied.

I can say she's already in her flat. I can hear soft classical music playing.

After Dale called me, I went to my kitchen and cook some light dinner for me. Suddenly, my phone rings. Thus, I answer the call.

"Dilann?" It was Gab on the other line said.

"Yeah. What's up?" I replied.

"Oh nothing. Just checking you up if you're already home." She said.

"I am." I simply replied.

For few minutes, she was silent so I bother to ask her if she's still there. But, upon she answers my question, her voice suddenly cracked and that bothers me.

"Why? What happen?" I asked her series of questions yet she didn't
answer.

I got a hint of her location when the waiter asked her if she wanted some cold drinks. I concluded that she might be in the clubhouse where our friends usually hangout with. I hurriedly went outside and grab my car and directly go to the clubhouse.

I search almost every corner of the club but I didn't saw her. I tried to ask at the counter maybe they happen to see Gab but the receptionist told me that she already left the place. My heart beats so fast because maybe she was in big trouble.

I think deeply where she might go until an idea came into my mind. I remember a place she often go to when she's in bad shape or broken hearted. It's by the coastal area.

I immediately went inside my car and drive the five kilometer coastal road. There, I saw her sitting at the top of her car facing the coast.

"Gabby!" I called her.

She was a bit surprise seeing me standing by my car. I went towards her and sit quietly beside her. It took almost half an hour of silence when she decided to talk about her problem.

"He...he broke up with me Di. Just before that night you went for a trip, we had a misunderstanding and there it all started. We fixed the problem the next day so I didn't bother to call you. I thought everything is already settled but when I decided to visit his flat the next day, I got surprised seeing him with another girl. I decided to be calm but when he saw me walking away from them, he called me up that night saying he is breaking up with me.
The whole thing left me hanging until now. " she narrated.

From there, she let out a heavy sigh. After our deep conversation, I call my driver to pick up her car and I brought her to my place.

I let her stay there for that night until she feels fine to go back to her flat. We ordered foods
and drinks and watch series of movies together until we decided to sleep.

Gab is not anymore a stranger to me. She became my friend when I was a freshman in College in San Francisco. Our families are business partners and that perhaps explain why we are both working in the same company.

Gab spent two nights in my place until she decided to go back. I let her go even though I still have doubts that she's not yet totally fine.

Brought by Gab's problem, I almost forgot of Dale. So, I thought of checking up on her. Unfortunately, she didn't answer. Perhaps she's busy with her work.

Looking outside my office, I realized that it was a little bit late so I decided to go home and take some rest.

Today is quite tiring brought by lots of meetings and preparation for the upcoming magazine launch of the other department.

I walked towards the parking lot where I saw my employees heading home. I greeted them as I pass through them. One thing that I learned from my dad is to never look down to people even though you have a good position at work. After all, your business wouldn't be successful without them. Thus, I always keep in mind to respect and value their position no matter what it is.

"Goodnight sir." Our head security guard bid me farewell as I walk towards him.

"Goodnight. Please be safe." I reminded him.

I walked towards my car and turn on the engine. Before I go for a drive, I checked first my phone if ever Dale responded back to my call. But there's no reply. So,I decided to call Gabby to check if she's already home. And yes, she is.
