I'm about to finish drying my hair when somebody knocks on my door. Perhaps it could be the hotel crew to get some orders. So, I lay down my hair dryer at the table and peep into a small whole at the door. It was Dilann not the hotel staff.

"Hi. Are you about to sleep? Want to grab some light dinneroutside?" he asked.

He's still wearing same shirt but this time, he topped it with his jacket and paired it with a knee pants and a pair of his leather sandals.

"Sure. I'll just quickly change. By the way, would you like to come in?” I asked him instead of waiting for me outside.

"Yeah. Thanks" he replied.

I immediately went towards the bathroom and changed. I grab some plain navy blue shirts and denim shorts on the closet. Lastly, I paired it with my white sneakers and tied my hair in a bun.

"Let's go!" said to him as he was sitting in a small sofa bed inside my room.

"Woah! You're too fast." He exclaimed.

"Why? Am I not presentable?" I curiously asked.

"No. You're actually good on it." He assured it.

I didn't know he rented a motorcycle and there we headed downtown to look for a restaurant. While on our way looking for one, we saw some couples dating in
every corner of the street. Some were foreigners that we've met on our way towards the hotel room. No wonder, the hotel is few meters from the park.

"Are you smiling back there?" He asked.

"No I don't." I replied.

"Of course you are!" He exclaimed while driving.

I was caught off guard when I glanced at him at the side mirror. He obviously caught me smiling from there. Finally, we saw a small restaurant with a coffee
shop nearby. It's actually a thirty minute drive from the hotel so I'm a little bit cold.

"Good evening ma'am and sir. This is our menu for tonight. What would you like to order?" The waitress politely asked.

"Hmm. We prefer a light one for our dinner. Can you make any suggestions?" he asked.

“Of course sir! How about our fish nuggets paired with a sandwich?" she asked.

"Okay. That will do. And for our drinks, perhaps we can have an iced tea." He said as he turned to me to ask. I just nodded at him.

"That would be all sir?" the lady asked.

"Yeah. That's all. Thanks." He replied.

While waiting for our orders, we just talk few things about him. I've known that he also has a sister in U.S and his whole family just migrated there for their
family business abroad. Perhaps that explains why he wanted to do something during weekends.

"Dilann, don't you have friends with you?" I curiously asked.

"I do. I actually have a best friend- a girl best friend- before." He simply replied.

"Before? So you don't have one this time?" I continued asking him.

"I still do. But she's different." He replied simply while looking in my hands playing in the table.

“You're distracted, don't you?” I asked him. Most of the time, Lain feels distracted whenever I'm playing my hands in the table.

“Not really. I was just looking at the ring on your finger-infinity.” He said.

“Ohh, a childhood friend gave this to me when I was young. But, I couldn't remember his face anymore. I'm not even sure how would I recognize him unless he tells me.” I shared.
