taehyung pov.
Trust the process. That is what I had to do.
But, not one day passed where I did not think of Jungkook and all of the memories we had, it was slowly killing me.
I pulled out my phone to text the younger one to see if he wanted to hang out or something. It was worth a shot.
I waited for a message, but he never responded. Was he serious? All of this because I wanted Jimin to be my friend?
I will admit, I was interested in Jimin, but I don't believe that I completely ignored my relationship. He was being delusional.
Almost as delusional as me when I decided to pull up to his house.
The butler lets me in because I was a familiar face and from the looks of it, Jungkook didn't given him any instructions to not let me in.
Walking through Jungkook's house felt unreal. I haven't been there in a few weeks and I was sure that his parents must've caught on.
"Good afternoon Taehyung! I'll call Jungkook downstairs," his mother welcomed me from the kitchen. It's like that's the only place she stood in that entire house.
Jungkook must not have told them that we have broken up, so I guess that is a good sign. Maybe he wasn't fully ready to let me go.
I plopped down on the couch and waited for Mrs.Jeon to call her son downstairs and see what was down here waiting for him.
Then the sound of quick footsteps racing down the stairs caught my attention and I perked my head up.
"What is it, mom?" I heard his annoyed voice from down the hallway as he was making his way towards the kitchen.
"Your boyfriend is here to see you," she smiled, oblivious to our current status.
His eyes got wide when he saw me and rolled them as he was about to turn around and head back upstairs.
"Uhm excuse me? Taehyung came here to visit you, don't be rude," she demanded causing Jungkook to pivot and go back into the kitchen not greeting me at all.
"Mom, he is not my boyfriend anymore, we broke up," that was my cue to get up and sit next to him.
"Oh my goodness! When? Taehyung why didn't you tell me?" She sounded almost as heartbroken as me.
"It was a few weeks ago, but I came here hoping we could talk Kookie," I turned my attention towards him and pleaded with my eyes.
His mother took it upon herself to exit the kitchen and leave us alone to talk.
"What is there to talk about Taehyung? We are not dating anymore, simple as that," he was pouting like a child.
"But, why? You know I would never do anything to hurt you. I am sorry I made you feel like I didn't care about us, because I do, more than anything in this world. You are my everything Kook, and I know I am yours," I was crying now.
