Jimin pov.
Today was the day.
I was going to set my fear aside, and I was going to audition for the dance team. I wanted to prove to Tae, Kook, Hobi, and the other 9,997 students in this school that I was worthy of being one of the selected 15 dancers.
I was backstage with many other good-looking male dancers and I could not help but feel intimidated.
Everyone was stretching, going over last-minute moves, or simply just having fun as if they have no worries in the world. Then I saw two familiar faces.
Tae?Jungkook?" what were they doing back here?
"Oh hey there Jimin!" Jungkook said enthusiastically. But I couldn't really tell if it was real enthusiasm or if he was just pretending not to make it awkward.
"Why are you in here? This area is for those who are auditioning," I was confused.
"Luckily we are here to audition too," Tae puts his hand on my shoulder and chuckles.
"I didn't know you guys danced," Okay now I was even more confused.
"You never asked," Tae's smart mouth said.
"Well-uhh good luck," my nerves got even worse knowing that I was going against two people who were really close to the captain.
"I think you will be needing it more than us," Jungkook laughs in a teasing manner and walks away with Tae's hands in his hands.
I could not help but feel a little jealous. Tae's hands must be so soft. I really wish I could hold his hands.
Focus. Get your head in the game Jimin.
Don't let that sexy ass man distract you from your current goal: making it on the dance team and finally fitting in in this godforsaken school.
All the dancers keep preparing for their performance and then a tall man comes out and gives us instructions.
"Alright, most of you know how this goes, but I shall go over the directions for any newbies out there," he looks in the crowd.
"Earlier you received a slip with a number on it. When your number is called you will be escorted to the side stage where you will wait your turn, then after the dancer who danced before you exits, the judges will say 'next performer', and then you will enter the stage, audition, receive your feedback, and exit the stage." the man said in a monotone voice.
"Once everyone is done, you all will come out on the stage where 15 of you will be officially a part of Seoul Academy's Dance Line. If you do not understand the directions, you might want to leave," you could tell he was over it.
It was clear that this man hated his job. It was kind of funny, to be honest.
The show started and numbers were being called left and right. The numbers were called at random so you never knew when you were coming up.
