I knew Jimin was not going to agree with dating me just to get back at Kook, but it was genuinely my only option. Jimin was the only one who had any chance of getting a reaction out of Jungkook, plus we already have so much chemistry and tension.

I know it sounds toxic, but trust me no one was going to get hurt. Jimin was my best friend, and he knows how much my relationship with Kook means to me.

I have known Jimin for a small amount of time now and he has opened up to me so much. I know a little about his past and all the things he has had to endure up until now so I know I would have to build his trust, not as his best friend, but as his future (fake) boyfriend.

Once I break up with Jimin I will do my best to find him someone of his own. Then we will all be happy, me with Jungkook and Jimin with whomever.

Months went by as I tried to convince my best friend to date me in spite of Jungkook. He would always laugh in my face when I brought the idea up.

"You want to see your ex try to beat my ass that bad huh," he emphasized the word try because in no world would he admit Jungkook can physically defeat him.

It was a cloudy Monday morning, and after thinking long and hard about how to get Jimin to agree to my plan, I decided I would just do a grand romantic gesture...in front of others, so he won't say no.

I was going to go through with it during lunch because Jungkook was there and he would be a witness to what was about to happen. I honestly don't know why all the drama happens at the lunch table, but that is just the way it is.

The day went by, slower than I wanted it to, but it was finally time to get this plan started.

I get my food and walk towards the infamous 'Dance Line' table and I park my nice ass on my designated seat. I was the first one seated so I thought it was best to eat some food and go over what I had thought about earlier again.

Shortly after, Jimin, Jungkook, Hobi Hyung, and everyone else started making their way to their seats, greeting me in the process.

I was surprised when Jungkook spoke to me though.

"Wassup Tae," his voice was low but energetic. This asshole. He thinks remaining cordial is so funny, but we will see who gets the last laugh.

"Oh hi Jeon," I slightly roll my eyes. I was acting, of course. He knew that when I called him Jeon, that meant that I was upset with him.

He tilted his head to the right in confusion, and as he was about to say something...

"Hey, Taeter Tot!" my best friend sits down with a smile, blocking Jungkook's face in the process.
