Jimin pov.

Christmas was slowly approaching and it did not help that I now had to buy a gift for one of my dance team members.

Hobi Hyung had informed me of the "Dance Line Christmas Tradition" where everyone goes to one dancer's house and they have to host a Christmas Party and we have to do secret Santa.

They always did something with each year on each holiday.  Thanksgiving got canceled because the host of the party got sick, so hobi hyung said whoever gets chosen to host the Christmas party has to go all out to make up for the last holiday.

So, today after practice, we all had to decide whose house it will be at this year.

"Well, Tae has the nicest house," one member named Yugeom stated. Nicest. Not the biggest though, that was Hobi hyung.

"We had Christmas there last year," another member named Yeonjun whined.

"And his parents are assholes," Shownu added.

"That's not true," I disagreed.

"You don't know them like we do Jimin, so it's best you just sit there, shut up, and look pretty," Lay shut me down quickly.

I gave him a quick middle finger and eye roll combo before focusing my attention on the next person who spoke up.

"I mean all of our houses are nice, it's just a matter of whose house will we choose," Hobi Hyung exclaimed trying to cut the now evident tension.

"I have an idea," one of the younger ones, Mark spoke up.

Everyone turned toward the voice, myself included.

"What if we just drew two names out of a hat and then vote between them," he continued his suggestion.

The rest of the group thought about his proposition and decided that that was the most logical way to go about it instead of arguing over who has the better house or whose parents are nicer.

Kai Hyung took off his hat and placed it in the middle after everyone had written their name on a piece of paper, provided by Taehyung.

We all placed our names in the hat and patiently waited for our captain to draw two names from the hat.

I swear with how slow he was going, it reminded me of that one scene in the hunger games when that weird lady was picking names from a bowl.

He finally grabbed a name and he read it,

"Kai,"

He reached back into the black baseball cap and pulled out another strip of paper that read,

"Jimin,"

I was shocked. I mean everyone could not fit in my house. I lived in a penthouse for crying out loud.

"Wait pull again, I don't want it at my house," I said as my shoulders sunk down.

It's not like my house is in horrible condition or anything, it's just that I felt like it was too small.

"It's not really up to you my little Chim Chim, it's up to the boys," Hobi Hyung smirked, causing me to scrunch my face up in disgust like I always did anytime Hobi did literally anything.

The group started to deliberate, leaning more towards Kai's house since I was the new kid and they were already familiar with his house and not mine.

Just as everyone was about to vote for Kai, Jungkook had to speak up with his big damn mouth.

"I think we should have it at Jimin's house," he shrugged.

Everyone was confused as to why of all people, Jungkook would be the one in favor of having the party at my house. I did sort of cause him and his ex boyfriend to end their relationship because I was desperate for a friend.
