JK POV

~Next Morning~

10 am

"I can't believe I kissed him," I had pulled Suga Hyung away from everyone to talk about what had just transpired.

We were sitting at the table finishing up our breakfast. Everyone else was already outside fishing, playing, and running around. Yoongi and I had been the last to wake up.

"You're a horrible person you know that right Kook?" He had a mouthful of cereal, a drop of milk about to slide down his chin.

"Well to be fair he initiated it," I added some butter to my toast evenly.

"But you didn't stop it. You're just as bad," he was wiping his mouth and grabbing a napkin to fully clean his face of any other unknown debris.

"If Taehyung started making out with you, would you stop him?" I pointed my butter knife to him as I spoke.

Hyung went quiet.

"Exactly," my toast was finally buttered.

"Either way, you're a dick, and so is he. Jimin doesn't deserve that," he pushed his hands on the table to allow his body, and the chair he was in, to be pushed in the opposite direction.

"Since when were you team Jimin?" I took a bite out of my freshly buttered piece of toast. It tasted like heaven.

"I'm not 'team jimin' Kook, I just know right from wrong," he chuckled as he grabbed his bowl and spoon, both of which were covered in milk residue.

"You're supposed to be my best friend, so whoever I hate you're supposed to hate," I was a fast eater so I was talking the last two bites.

"That's not how this friendship works. And even if it was , you definitely don't do that," he was opening the dishwasher to put the two items inside.

"What? Who am I friends with that you don't like?" I rushed up to put my plate that once had my toast on it it, in the dishwasher alongside hyung.

"Bambam, Yugeom, Jackson...who else?" Hyung looked at a place to to put his dishes.

"They're all on the basketball team...you're literally the captain," I handed him my plate once he was done putting his dishes up.

"Just because we play on the same team doesn't mean I have to like them," he reached his hand out and grabbed my plate. It was more of a small saucer, but still.

"Well that's besides the point, you're totally taking Jimin's side," I handed him my butter knife as well.

"Stop acting like bitch. No one is taking anybody's side, you were wrong and so was your cheating ass ex. End of the story," he closed the dishwasher and after a few brief seconds we could both hear the machine begin to do its job.

"Okay so let me ask you this. What if the roles were switched? What if Jimin was dating Hobi, and Hobi kissed you...what would you do?" I'm sure what I did wasn't as bad as Hyung was making it seem.

"I would stop him. If he was in a so-called committed relationship, I would not ruin that for him. Not everyone is a dick like you," and with that he walked away. I think he was genuinely mad at me for what I did with Tae.

"Hey wait! Hyung!" I started chasing after him. He wasn't walking fast so I was able to catch up next to him pretty quickly.

"What," his tone was bitter.

"Are you actually mad at me?" I wasn't used to him acting like this towards me.

"Not mad, just disappointed. When you were with Tae you always told me about how much you would die if he ever cheated on you, and here you are, doing that exact thing. Granted, you're not cheating on him, but still," we were now in his room. I was sitting on a bean bag chair and he was making up his bed.
