Sofia's POV
I was in Tokyo since I was in here for a read and greet.
Okay so here's a bit more about me. I'm a romance author and I'm 25. At first I didn't realise it was my dream. But when I went to a bookstore while travelling with my parents, I realised it when I sat down in the corner of the bookstore and I started reading. That's when I knew. It was my dream, destiny even. I believe anything is possible. Even the impossible.
Anyways I'm walking in the streets of Tokyo right now. I had my read and greet.
Oh and Jade, my manager wants me to write a new book since my readers and she wants me to. But I can't find any inspiration to it. She wants me to write a new book but I can't because I have writer's block!
Oh shit. I'm running late for my flight to Paris where my next read and greet is.
I practically ran to the airport. No let me rephrase that. I sprinted through the streets.
When I ran back to my hotel and got my luggage, quickly packed my clothes and got into some new top and jeans.
I yelled when I reached out of the hotel, "Taxi!" "Cab!"
Quickly one came and I thanked them, "Thank you."
I instructed him as I put my bags down, "Okay so please bring me to the please."
He nodded and started driving me to there.
When I was there. I tipped him. As a small gesture to thank him.
I yelled as I ran into the airport, "Thank you!"
I ran inside and just made it on time. On the way I bumped into a young man who looked in his mid 20s.
I quickly got my stuff and quickly apologised, "I'm so sorry."
I sat down near a seat next to the window sit when I walked into the plane. It was going to at least 16 hour flight.
As I started to get inspiration I got my laptop out. Then when I was in the zone.
A flight attendant said in a French accent, "Sir here is your seat hope you enjoy the flight."
I looked up and saw the man it was the same man I bumped into. He had jet-black hair, slightly combed out but messy, forest green eyes. He wore some casual jeans and a top.
I smiled at him. He frowned upon my smile. He seemed closed off.
I put my laptop away and introduced myself, "Hi I'm Sofia." "What's your name?"
He barely looked at me meanwhile make eye contact.
He said in a blunt tone, "Mmm." "Great."
I was mad by this and said in a sarcastic tone, "You can at least introduce yourself since we'll be seating together for 16 hours or more."
He scoffed as he folded his arms, "Geez fine I'm Alex."
I wasn't entirely convinced but I thought to myself, 'Alex or whoever you are you have a cold heart.' I smiled at myself as I thought, 'Maybe he needs someone who will warm his heart, maybe that someone can be me.'
As I read my book, I tried to make a conversation with Alex.
I saw him get something out from his bag. It was his schedule and it said Hugo.
I asked as I folded my arms, "Hugo?"
He looked at me as if I said something wrong.
I said in a confused tone, "So your name is Hugo." "And you didn't tell me your real name why?"
He looked at me and said nothing.
I sighed as I looked at him carefully, "Anyways why are you going to Paris?"
He said still not looking me in the eyes, "I have an ice skating competition to in-." I cut him off.
I smiled at him, "I'll come to support you, we're friends right?"
He looked at me, stunned and he looked at me as if he didn't get how I act.
He asked confused, "How can we be friends if we just met?"
I said with a bright smile, "That's how you met a person idiot."
I continued to read my book as he worked on his schedule. I dozed off as I read. I dozed off onto Hugo's shoulder since it was going to be a long flight. I slept for the rest of the flight.
