Chapter 2 Part 1 - Felix

Hugo's POV

Great(!) it's February and the week of Valentines time day. And I have an ice skating competition in Paris why Paris!? It could've been any where else but the so called romantic city in the world.

Anyway I'm meeting my best bud in the airport which shouldn't be too bad. Expect this 'new friend' I think. I don't care or know. She slept on my shoulder while she read her book.

I soon fell asleep after. When we arrived in Paris. I swear she stuck to me like glue because she stuck to me literally.

I walked up to Felix who is my best bud and my only friend.

He put my arm around me and greeted happily, "Hugooo how you've been bro?"

Sofia was standing right there and said in a joking tone, "Really?" "Alex here isn't really talkative."

Felix reluctantly went along with her annoying jokes.

He joked putting his hands in the air, "Dude you didn't tell me your real name is Alex."

I looked at him as if he punched me in the face. He stopped immediately after he looked at me.

He put his arm around my neck again and asked while looking at Sofia, "So who's this pretty lady?"

I was about to say that she was nobody to me when she beat me to it.

She smiled as she put her hand out for him to shake it, "Hi I'm Sofia what's your name?"

Felix gladly shook her hand and smiled back, "I'm Felix." "Hugo's best bud and friend." "So why are you in Paris?"

She replied with a smile, "I'm here on a read and greet since I'm a writer and an author."

He asked her, "You're a writer?" "You look too cute and pretty to be a writer."

I looked at him confused what the fuck is he saying?

He saw my facial expression and teased me, "You know if you're lucky enough you might end up being together with a pretty lady like her."

I scoffed in response.

He turned back to Sofia and smiled softly, "Well we should be leaving to go to ice skating practice right Hugo?" "We'll see you later Sofia."

I nodded as we walked away.

She yelled as we walked away, "See you guys later!"

I don't understand her what and why does she want to be friends with me?

Sofia's POV

I was going to my hotel, Jade got me. I went to my hotel, it was small and it was cheap since I didn't want to crowded by people who read my book.

It's just, I do enjoy them, it's just I wish people saw as a person and not some famous romance author who write romance novels.

I tried to write down something on my laptop but nothing came to me. So I decided to go to the ice skating rink that wasn't far from here to see Felix and Hugo practice for their upcoming ice skating competition.

So I went to the ice skating rink and brought some books just in case I got bored but I might not. But you be never know. And my laptop to see if I could get more inspiration.

I was at their ice skating rink and I saw Felix and Hugo skating.

I shouted to get their attention, "Hey guys over here!"

Felix smiled at me while Hugo frowned as he reluctantly followed him.
