Chapter 6 Part 1 - Songbird

Sofia's POV

I was going to have tea with Jade who I've told you all that is my manager and my one of my besties. She staying in Paris for a week to see how my book is going.

I was getting my room ready when I heard a knock on the door. I walked to the door and opened it to see the one and only Jade.

I smiled as I got the tea ready, "Hey Jade wassup?"

She smiled as she sat down in the chair, "Hey Sofia nothing much what about you?"

I answered with a smile as I got the cookies, "Well I'm going to hang out with some friends tonight."

She asked as she raised an eyebrow intrigued, "Oh really?" "With who?"

I explained as I started pour the hot water into the mugs, "Hugo and Felix." "Hugo is one that isn't very talkative but I don't mind and he is the one who I met on the plane flight here." "Felix is the opposite of him and I met him through Hugo."

She said as she smirked, "So it's a date?" "With Hugo?"

I answered as I looked at her with a questioning look, "What no it isn't." "He's just a friend."

She rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms, "Whatever you say Sof." She paused as she asked with some excitement and a bit enthusiasm wiggling her eyebrows, "So where are you going to on your date?"

I replied as I put her tea down on the table, "Well I don't know it planned maybe a karaoke club or go sightseeing again." I paused as I realised what Jade said. I scolded as I sat down opposite her with my mug of tea, "And it's not a date."

While we had our tea, we were mainly talking about Hugo and how my book is coming along. Once we finished our tea and cookies.

She thought for a moment before suggesting while smirking at me, "You know Sof, that boy Hugo is interesting, why don't you make a book about him and you, like how's your relationship going?" "A boy who doesn't believe in love and a girl who is a hopelessly romantic probably falls for him?"

I blushed at bit as I waved a dismissive hand, "Nah." "Maybe but I don't know."

I got changed into jeans and a top with a denim jacket, "So what do you think?" "Can I wear this to a karaoke club?"

She gasped as she looked at my outfit, "Girl you need help!" "We're going shopping asap!"

She dragged me out and we went like 10 shops until we found some glittery nice top with golden earrings along with black jeans and two heels since I hate walking in pencil heels. As for my face, just some natural makeup and my hair was in a ponytail and vilo!

She beamed with excitement as she got me to turn around in a circle, "Vilo!" "Now you're ready!" "Hugo's going to love this!"

I rolled my eyes as I said with a smile, "I told you, me and Hugo are just friends." "Nothing more and nothing less." "But I thank you for helping me pick the right outfit if we go out for a karaoke club or something."

She looked at her watch, "Oh dang it you're going to late for your date now if you just keep standing there."

I asked with a curious chime, "One me and him are just friends." "Secondly what time is it?" I informed her, "Since they finish their ice skating practice early in the afternoon."

She answered, "One or two in the afternoon."

My eyes widen with shock as I whispered-yelled, "What?" "Come on I don't want them to think I've stood them up or made other plans!"

We sprinted out of the shop since we already bought everything we needed. We made it to the ice rink and we saw Hugo and Felix waiting for me. We walked slowly as they waved to us.

Hugo's POV

We saw Sofia and other girl with her. We waved to them and they started walking to us.

Once they were in front of us, I looked at Sofia and I was stunned a bit.

I said with a slight smile as I studied her outfit and makeup slowly, "You look nice."

She blushed a bit as she fiddled with her earring, "Really?" "Umm thank you."

The girl next to her introduced herself as she put her hand out to shake ours, "Hi I'm Jade one of Sofia's friends and her manager."

We gladly shake hands once we did, Jade turned to Sofia as she smirked, "Well I should be leaving now."

I heard Jade whisper to Sofia still smirking, "Oh and Sofia enjoy your date night."

I heard Sofia whisper to her, "Jade it's not a date for the millionth time." "How is it a date if Felix is with us?"

I heard Jade say in a sing-song tone, "Hehe but you talk about Hugo then Felix." "Which means you're starting to like Hugo."

Me and Felix were listening to this. Felix heard it and smirks.

He apologised as he checked his phone, "Ah sorry guys but I remember I have to do something so I'll be leaving so you too enjoy."

He rushed to Jade and started to talk to her. Now me and Sofia now. We were silence for a while before she broke it.

She smiled as she grabbed my hand, "Well we should be doing something come on!"

She took us to a few saviour shops and to be honest it was kinda fun. We got to go to different places around Paris, to finish off the night. Sofia suggested karaoke club, which we gladly went to.
