Chapter 13 - Fan knows the best

Hugo's POV

We started to walk to Emma and Felix are. They were watching some readers ask some questions about their upcoming books or stuff about their personal life.

Sofia sat in a chair in front of the fans. Me, Felix and Emma sat down at the back.

Sofia's POV

I sat down in a chair in front of my readers or fans you want to call it now. Fans were asking me questions about my upcoming book and personal things.

One of fan asked, "When's the next book coming out?"

I thought for a minute before replying with a smile, "Well you will know once I'm done with it." "But hopefully by the end of spring or some time later."

Other fan asked me, "What will happen in your upcoming book?"

I said with a nervous laugh, "Well I won't give much but it's quite different from my other books."

Another fan asked, "What do you mean by 'different from your other book'?"

I replied as I looked at them, "You'll just have to read it when it comes out I guess to find out what I mean."

Then one fan asked a question I wasn't expecting at all, "What about your love life?"

Almost everyone started to giggle in front of me, wondering whether I had a love life or not.

I asked as I laughed nervously, "Haha what do you mean by love life?"

She explained with a curious smile as she asked, "I'm wondering because even though you're a romance author and everything." "You must still have someone you care."

I thought about it for a minute then looked at Hugo, Emma and Felix at the back and smiled.

I smiled brightly as I replied, "I have someone who I care about deeply but I don't think I'm ready to tell him so soon how I feel."

She asked with a questioning look, "What do you mean by that?"

I replied as I thought aloud, "I'm not so sure yet whether I feel for him in a friend way or something more."

Then I heard a Emma and Felix saying while smirking, "I think you're wrong." "You like that person but you don't realise it." "You have that smile while you talk about that specific person."

I knew what they were doing. I glared at them and mouthed no to them. But they shook their heads and continued smirking. I rolled my eyes at them as they continued to smirk.

Next 2 other authors who I think do different genres with a popular publisher came to sit down next to me. One does action and drama, and the one is doing horror and mystery. I spoke with them for a while before going back to my friends.

Hugo's POV

Once Sofia was done with her fans and everything. We walked up to her.

She smiled as she suggested quickly, "Okay so how about we go to your ice skating practice?"

I chuckled as I jokingly said and extended my arm out for her, "Sure princess."

To my surprise she took my arm and smiled at me. I could feel Emma and Felix's smirks burning through my skull. I glared at them and rolled my eyes. Felix did the same for Emma.

I looked back on Sofia, she smiled at me again. I smiled softly as I walked with her.

I mentally thought to myself, "I think Sofia is great, caring amazing person you don't want to miss out on being friends on." "Anyone would be lucky to have her as her friend or girlfriend."
