Chapter 23 - Teasing

Emma's POV

I woke up crushed into Felix's bare chest. I smiled lovingly as I kissed him on the cheek.

He woke up as he smiled softly, "Mm, hey baby." "You have a good night sleep?"

I smiled sweetly and nodded.

We got up and we got changed into matching outfits. I smirked as I saw Sofia talking to Hugo.

I asked mischievously as I looking at Sofia, "Hey Felix, don't you think my friend is so oblivious when it comes to love?"

Sofia was looking at me with a look that read, 'I know what you're doing.'

Felix gets the message I'm sending to him in a way. And he goes along with it obviously or otherwise I would punish him.

He laughed as he nodded with a mischievous sparkle in his eyes, "Yeah." "She is but my friend is so stupid sometimes."

I punched him in the arm hard for being and mentally facepalmed, sighed to myself, 'What am I going to do with him sometimes?'

Hugo being the dense idiot he is. He asked clearly curious who that friend is, "Who is that friend?" "Do I know them?" "You never told me about someone like?"

Me and Felix both sighed at the same time giving each other a look that said, 'Why is he so dense?' 

My sunshine, obviously had to give more than that to Hugo. So he retorted as he gave Hugo a somewhat stern look, "You know her." "Hugo you sure you don't need glasses?"

He gave a confused expression to Felix as he asked even more confused, "Why?"

Felix laughed dryly as he put his arm draped over Hugo's shoulders, "Because you too goddamn blind to see what's in front dude."

I relaxed down on the couch watching the show with an amused smile.

Felix's POV

He soon realised what I just said and punched me in the arm. Geeez what's with my girlfriend and my friends with punching me in arm.

He whispered-yelled as he gave me a frustrated look, "Dude!" "You know me and Sofia ar-."

I interrupted him as I imitated Hugo's voice, "Just friends." "I know I know."

I sighed softly as I smirked at him, "Yes you think you just like her." "But why now you're not gonna do anything about it?"

He swallowed nervously as he smiled sadly, "Me and Sofia might not even be meant for each other as you and Emma put it in the most annoying way possible." "I'm scared of being rejected and losing her friendship." "She means a lot to me as you and Emma." "All you guys are like my second family other than Axel and Dad of course."

I smiled brightly as I advised me, "Dude I understand you but remember how it was for me to confess to Emma." He nodded letting him continue, I explained softly as I smiled reminiscing on the moment he met Emma, "Of course me and Emma still had a bumpy ride but you can't miss your chance." "I almost missed my chance with Emma if it wasn't for you."

He stifled in a laugh as he smiled softly, "Hehe yeah, you were so afraid because you didn't want to betray me." He added softly as he reminded me, "But I reminded you even if you have a girlfriend nothing is going to change, besides if she makes you happy then it's enough to know you two lovebirds will happy together, gang or not." 

I joked before going back to the point, "Gee thanks Dad."

We laughed for a minute before I reminded myself I had to get back to the point.

I explained as I smiled shyly, "Yeah but you don't want to miss your chance you know." "When it's too late." I added gently as I looked at him, "I'm saying not confess right now and all if you're still coming to terms with your feelings." "But maybe one day you will confess to her."

I smirked as I teased him, "And tell her you love her."

He agreed as he reluctantly ignored the last part, "Yeah I will someday but not today."

He smiled sadly as he nodded firmly, "Yes I do like her but I want to explore it." "She was really different last night and one thing is for sure after last night, I want to be shoulder she leans on, mentally, physically, emotionally, I want to there for her."

I mentally thought to myself in that moment as I secretly smirked to myself keeping a tease to myself, "And she'll be yours." "She'll be your shoulder to lean on, even without you realising it yet."
