Chapter 15 - Friends

Sofia's POV

Me and Hugo went to the ice rink. I sat on a bench and started writing on my laptop. The book is going well. Hugo, Emma and Felix were ice skating as I continued to writing.

Once I finished writing for now. I decided to skate with my friends.

I started skating with them happily when Justin came over to me and grabbed me by the waist.

I questioned as I looked at him confused, "What the hell are you doing?"

He smirked as he kissed my cheek, "Please forgive me baby." He paused as he smirked, "And I know you want another date with me." "I'm practically irresistible."

I yelled angrily as I took his arm off my waist, "Sorry but no thanks!" "You don't make decisions for me, I do!" "And going on a date with you would be the worst thank you for very much goodbye!"

I was about to skate away to catch up to my friends when Justin tripped me up. I winced a bit.

Hugo's POV

Felix and I were laughing about something the coach said last practice. When I glanced over to Sofia. Oh no, Justin this can't be good. I saw Justin trip her up.

I said calmly as I looked at Felix, "Uhh you and Emma do practice I need to do something first."

He looked at me confused as he asked, "What do you need to do?"

I replied quickly as I looked at him, "Something." "Just go skate okay?"

He looked behind to Sofia and smirked slightly. He nodded understandably as he smiled skating to Emma, "Okay do what you need to do dude."

I nodded before going to Sofia and Justin.

I cleared my throat as I was behind Justin, "Ahem."

He smiled innocently as he turned to me while saying sarcastically, "Hello Hugo what a surprise!" "What brings you here?"

I ignored him and skated to Sofia kneeled down, "You alright?"

She smiled as she nodded, "Yeah I am." "But I think I sprained my ankle."

I suggested as I looked at her, "Mm okay how about you lean on me while we get you to a bench." I paused as I slowly checked her ankle informing her, "It's a light sprain, so you should be fine." "Just have put your ankle on rest then you'll be back to walking around by tomorrow."

She smiled as she nodded, "Mm okay." "Thank you."

We ignored Justin as he was about to open his mouth once again. We went to the bench.

I sighed as I put a bandage on her sprained ankle, "Justin can be a pain in the ass sometimes." "I'm sorry if me and Justin are getting in way of us having fun."

Sofia on the other hand was taken aback by his apology. She said as she smiled apologetically, "What no!" "You shouldn't be apologising I should!" "I should have been more careful around him besides Emma did warn me but I didn't listen." "So I'm sorry I should have stayed away from Justin from the beginning."

I said as I looked at her, "Mm maybe but I still need to say sor-."

I was cut off by Sofia. She chuckled lightly as she smiled softly, "Okay how about we're both sorry so we're even then."

I laughed as I smiled, "Okay okay."

There was silence between us for a minute. When Sofia asked something.

She asked incredulously as she gave me a suspicious look, "Why are you helping me with my sprained ankle?"

I said sincerely as I looked into her blue eyes, "Because you're my friend aren't you?"

She giggled as she raised an eyebrow, "Hehe well yes I am but the last thing I remember you kinda didn't want to be friends with someone you met on the plane flight here."

I said as I looked and grinned sheepishly at her, "Well yes I did said that but that doesn't matter what I said back then." I paused as I gave her a slight smile, "And we're friends aren't we?"

She grinned as she nodded sitting up because I was done with her ankle, "Yes we are."

I smiled as I nodded going back onto the ice rink for some more practice.
