FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS, ALEX HAD DISTANCED HERSELF FROM
just about everyone, besides a few girls and suna. she walked through campus on her way home from her days worth of classes.

her feet clicked against the sidewalk as she kept her eyes low. her phone buzzed, making her take her phone out and check it.

alex giggled quietly as she looked up, spotting an alarmed suna. she sighed at the 2 she had gotten into a dispute with, walking over slowly.

she walked up to suna and smacked his forehead. he rubbed it quickly, frowning. "you're so mean to me alex."

"that's what i'm meant to be." her eyes averted to shoyo, smiling kindly. "hi hinata babe." she pulled him into a tight embrace, squeezing him like a teddy bear. he hugged back generously, taking in her sweet and savory scent.

"hi alex! how was your day?" he smiled big, pulling away and looking up at her.

"it was okay i guess. i'm assuming we're going to get onigiri?" hinata nodded, looking to everyone else.

"no greetings for us?" atsumu said loudly, making an annoyed expression instantly take over her face. she turned on her heels, looking at them.

"hi osamu." she smiled at him, looking away and walking with suna.

alex stayed on her phone the entire time, not even eating. suna watched her every few moments, noticing the sad expression that displayed all over her face.

he looked away, continuing to eat and talk to osamu. sakusa looked over at her. he also looked down at his phone, opening his messages between her.

alex sighed quietly and shut her phone off, laying her head on the table.

alex closed her eyes for awhile, getting an idea and reopening them. no one could see under the table.

she took her shoe off with her other foot, leaving it just in a sock. she slowly raised her foot, sliding the beginning of it up sakusa's pant leg. he looked up quickly with the sudden contact, as she rubbed his leg slowly, almost in a flirtatious way.

"who's doing that?" he spoke quickly,
looking around.

"doing what, omi-kun?" atsumu raised an eyebrow. sakusa shook his head, looking down.

alex pulled her foot away, annoyed once again.  sakusa let out a relieved exhale.  she put her shoe back on, kicking his shin at full force. 

"ok that's it!" he slammed his hands on the table, the restaurant growing quiet. 

"omi is everything alright?" hinata looked at him worried.  alex sat up, looking at him.  he pointed at her, pulling his mask down.

"if you don't leave me alone i swear to god-"

"what?  swear that you just won't believe me again, hm?" he groaned, shaking his head and pulling his mask back up, sitting down angrily.

"you guys do owe her an apology." suna spoke up, taking a big bite out of an onigiri.

"for what?  she lied to us." atsumu crossed his arms. 

"can you both not process it through your puny little brains that he did what she said?  i took her from him.  he was trying to put her in his car, she wasn't conscious what-so-ever.  when i took her back to my dorm and laid her in my bed, she didn't wake up until 15 hours after she had been passed out.  if you don't think something wrong happened there, you're out of your goddamn minds."

atsumu looked at suna for a moment, eyes panning to alex.  "..i'm sorry, alex.  i didn't know that really happened, i should've believed you."

she scoffed, shaking her head.  "i told you what happened weeks ago in detail, yet it was a lie.  now that he "backs up" the story, i'm no longer a liar??  go fuck yourself." alex stood, grabbing her bag.

"alex wait don't go." suna grabbed her wrist, pulling her down.

"i don't want to be here, i just wanna go to my dorm, okay? is that too much to ask for??" he sighed and let go of her wrist, letting her leave.  she left the building, tears pouring down her face. 

she speed walked back to campus, wiping at her eyes.  she went into her dorm, throwing her bag and shoes down and slamming the door shut.

alex went into her room and face planted into the bed, screaming out in frustration.  her knuckles grew white from gripping the sheets. 

eventually, she cried herself to sleep.  she laid there with wet cheeks, breathing finally calming.
