Chapter Twenty - Use Protection

Brinley's POV

"Brinley, I know we've had our ups and downs, but I like you a lot, and I can't imagine being with anyone else. I was wondering if you would wanna see if we could work, you know, as a couple?"

"Wait, so you're saying..?"

"Yes, Brinley, will you go out with me?" I instantly blushed. I can't believe Creo James Firgens is asking me out. We've been friends since we were born. I practically grew up with the twins. But Cole was always like my brother, and Creo, while he was always a little more. We have fought constantly since we were little, but we always knew we could count on each other. I've known I've had a crush on him since seventh grade, I just never admitted it to anyone because I thought that it would get back to him somehow. That's why I've always denied the truth. I've been waiting and wanting this for years, and I can't believe that it's actually happening right now. "Now would be a good time to say some thing," Cake smirked. I slowly start to nod my head, and I'm instantly wrapped up in his arms.

"Creo, I will as long as you promise me one thing," now it's my turn to smirk.

"Yes," he replies hesitantly, knowing that I have complete control over him right now is kinda amazing.

"You have to pay for our coffee stops," I laugh. We always have a big argument over whose gonna pay, since we tend to go almost everyday after school. One person always pays for the other, I don't really understand why we never just split the bill, but that's just us.

"Anything for you," he smirks before leaning in. My heart rate speeds up, and once our lips connect, I know this is what I have been waiting for. I have thought about this moment for years, and I can't believe it is actually happening. My life is kinda cliche right now, but I would not have it anyway else.

We finally pull away, and he rests his forehead on mine. Once I open my eyes, I notice his gigantic smile, that completely mimics mine.

"USE PROTECTION!" We both jump, then bust out laughing at John, as red tints our cheeks.

"I wouldn't be talking, I think we all know who needs it here." Derek laughs as he walks in, winking at John and his sister. I look around and instantly start blushing, noticing everyone was in the room, watching us, even including Mama Meyers, and Mr. Meyers. They are my best friends, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Abby's POV

Everyone was standing around, looking at the two love birds on the couch. Every one of us is now in some sort of relationship. John and I, Brinley and Creo, Jade and Josh, And Cole and Ally. It's so weird to think that none of us were like this a year ago, and now here we are, pretty unbelievable actually.

"In celebration of you two, I made you all some lunch!" Mama Meyers smiled. All the boys jumped up and ran for the kitchen. Even Jarrett and Kevin.

"Thank you Mama Meyers," I hug her and walk to the kitchen. It was disaster, the boys already had their plates full, leaving the dishes empty for us, and were eating and talking, more like yelling.

"Don't worry girls, I left food in the fridge cause I figured that this was gonna happen," she just chuckled and went over to get the other food. After we got our food, we all sat down at the table in our respected spots. John then me, Jarrett, Derek, Mama Meyers, then Kevin at the head of the table, then Brinley, Cake, Cole, Ally, who showed up right before we jumped in on the love birds, then Jade, and Josh next to John. When everyone is here, all Johns siblings, there friends, and all of us, the Meyers have another table they set up, which is actually kinda crazy. When everyone is here, it's like a zoo. There's seventeen of us when just the siblings, there husbands, and our friends our here. And that's without the siblings friends.

I looked around and noticed one very important thing. Even though my life will never be perfect, I have already gone through many ups and downs and I have many more to come, I still am one very lucky girl. I have Jade and Brinley, two of the most gorgeous, kindest, loving friends a girl could ask for. They are always there for me when I need advice or even just a hug. I have the twins, Cole and Creo, who are like little brothers to me, if I ever need someone to pick me up when I'm sad, I'll go to them. They know how to make me laugh, no matter what. I have Josh, who is like a big brother to me. If I have trouble with anyone, he'll be there to fix it, maybe even throw a few punch because everyone knows he likes a good fight, even if he is the sweetest guy you will ever meet. I have Mama Meyers and Kevin, who are more like my parents than my actually parents. I came to Mama Meyers when I had my first period instead of my own mother. Kevin has given me the father figure that every girl needs, he's disciplined me when I needed it most, and gave me strong hugs when I've needed it most. I have Marcus, who was there to step into the big brother role, when my brother let me down in it. I have the rest of the Meyers, Macy, Mary, Mathew, Mark, Mason, and Jarrett. They've been my step in family and I wouldn't ask for anything else, they are amazing. I have Derek, who has not always been there for me, but now that he is, I couldn't ask for more. And last but definitely not least, I have John. He's been there for me no matter what. He's been there for me in the lowest times in my life, and he's celebrated the highest points of my life with me. Being with him is the best thing that has happened to me. I'm extremely lucky to have him, and everybody else, in my life. I would change one thing for anything. I've had my troubles, but they've turned into greatness.
