Chapter Ten - Man I Love My Friends

Abby's POV

It's now been a week since John and I kissed. We've been a little more touchy feely, but nothing major. There has been multiple times where I have wanted to kiss him though. It's been really hard not to, but in just not sure about everything. Just because it happened once doesn't mean that it's going to happen again.

Spending all this time with John has been amazing, but every girl needs her best girl friends. So, today we are hanging out with everybody. Mama Meyers is extremely easy going, she loves having people over, because she believes that kids should spend as much time with others as we can. So getting her to agree to having all five of them sleep over was actually pretty easy.

Cole and Creo are already here. They have been for quite a while, they slept over last night, so I was forced to sleep on the couch, more like I chose to. Those three can get very annoying when you spend to much time with them. And plus they need guy time, John needs guy time.

Josh, Brinley and Jade should be here soon and I'm excited. I haven't seen any of them for the whole week I've been here, and that's not normal for us. We're normally together all the time. So I'm really happy to be doing this.

"THE PARTY HAS ARRIVED!" Jade yelled as she ran through the door. Brinley came in after her, smiling like a creep. I laughed and jumped up, running over to them and hugging both of them.

"The party was already here, Jade. I live here," John responded, lightly.

"No, I'm the party mister. THE PARTY STARTS WHEN I WALK IN!" She yelled once again, jumping around.

"Okay. Everybody calm down. Everybody knows I'm the one who brings the party here," I laugh. John just shakes his head and laughs. Jade shakes her head and starts chasing after me. I start running, trying to get away from her. I head to the door, just when Josh walks through it.

I jump into his arms yelling, "Josh! Save me!"

"Okay!" He yells as he runs into the closet and locks the door once he sets me down. "Umm.... Well this is not where I planned on being." I only laughed. I knew he didn't mean anything by it. Anybody who knows him can tell he's in love with Jade, honestly.

"ABBY! JOSH! Get out of the closest!" Jade yelled, banging on the door.

"Wanna make John mad?" Josh smirked, a mischievous glint in his blue eyes.

"How?" I asked.

"I have an idea that will freak him out."

John's POV

Like 5 minutes ago Josh ran into a closet with Abby. It's not a big closet either. The rest of us went into the living room to watch a movie. I took the one seat where you could see the closet. It really bugs me that they are still in there. Josh is one of my best friends and I would trust him with my life, but he's really making me want to punch him right now. I always thought that he was in love with Jade, he makes it quite obvious.

"John, calm down buddy! It's Josh you know he won't do anything! The only reason they're still in there because Jade won't get away from the door. Which I find funny, she's just as tense as you!" Only a second after Creo got done talking a groan was heard from the closet.

"Joosh.." Came a low moan, just load enough to hear. Everybody but Jade and I busted out laughing. I couldn't take it I was seeing red dots everywhere I looked. My hands clenched on to the seat and I couldn't take it as I hear Josh moan out. I ran up to the door and started pounding on it.

"Get out. Now" I growled. The door instantly opened. Abby walked out with her hair out of its ponny tail and messed up, Josh's hair was messed up just like it. I couldn't help it. I grabbed Abby and pulled her up the stairs to our bedroom. Yes, I said our.

"Abby. What the hell did you just do? How could you just have gone and did who knows what with Josh? In a closet. With all of your friends sitting right out side that door. Do you have any idea how that would have affected Jade? How it affects me?" I say, getting softer towards the end. I reached out and touched her check. I couldn't believe how much the idea of her and Josh makes me mad. In this moment I finally realized me true feelings for Abby. I always knew that I felt deeply for her, but I always thought it was as a friend. Right now, as I'm staring at her face waiting for her to answer me, I know that it's more than that. I like Abby Mae, I like her a lot.

"John," she whispered. "Josh and I did nothing. Absolutely nothing. We only acted like we did to see how you would react. I'm sorry. I really didn't know you would get this mad." I let out a sigh. The next thing I did I couldn't help. I leaned down and kissed her. Everything disappeared and she became the only thing on my mind. I couldn't help but smile. I pulled away and rested my forehead on hers. "I'm sorry," she ruffly whispered. It just made me want to kiss her again. I was about to do just that but the door swung open and everybody marched in. We both jumped apart and I felt my checks getting red.

"OHHHHH! John and Abby sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love, then comes marriage then comes the baby in the baby carriage!" Every single one of them sang. I looked over at Abby, her face was as red as a tomato, just like mine.

Man, I love my friends.

Sorry.. I've been busy! My uncle's opening a Papa Murphy's and I've been there late almost every night lately... so it's been hard to write!
