Abby's POV

Mine and Derek's plane leaves at six in the morning, so we had to leave the Meyer's house at two to get on the plane in time. John, Mama Meyers and Marcus came to see us off. It's a four hour flight to San Fransisco and I hate planes. The one time I flew in a plane I freaked out literally the whole time, and John was there the whole time to calm me down. So, as I got closer to the airport, the faster my leg started tapping. John gently set his hand on my knee and I instantly stopped.

"You'll be fine, just sleep." I followed his advise and leaned my head against his shoulder. I can fall asleep anywhere when I have John. I'm so used to spending almost all day with him, so this week is going to be hard. But, I'll just have to think about the next week when I'll be with him constantly. Soon, I drift off and am fast asleep.

When I woke up, I was on John's back, going into the airport. I stayed their until he needed to leave. I got off and he wrapped me up in a big hug.

"I'm gonna miss you so much, Blue." I whisper and huge him a little tighter.

"I'm gonna miss you too, Oats. Only one week then we'll be in LongBeach together."

"Which will be the best week with you."

"It's going to be amazing. It'll be the best one yet. I love you, Abs."

"Love you too, Blue." I give him one more big kiss before I go on to Marcus.

"Don't go and find yourself a new family to live with out there."

"No promises," I wink. "But in all seriousness, I would never do that. I love ya guys, way to much."

"Awe, Oats, don't make me cry." He pulls me in to a big hug, and then I'm passed on to Mama Meyers.

"You best be careful out there, young lady. I don't want you coming back hurt."

"I won't Mama Meyers, thank you for everything."

"Don't even think about it. Just promise me you won't get hurt, and you'll try your hardest not to hurt my son, he loves you more than you know." I give her a weird look before I agree with her, hug her, say one final goodbye to everyone and go on my way with Derek.

Once we get on the plane we find our seats and he makes me sit in the middle seat.

Thanks a lot bro.

Suddenly, a real nice looking guy walks up, checks his ticket and sits down in the seat next to me. He looks up at me with his big blue eyes, that only remind me of John, and smiles. He sticks out his hand, "my names Casey."

"My names Abby."

"And my names Derek. I'm Abby's older brother and the friend of her boyfriend." Derek says to him as he sticks out his hand.

Casey timidly shakes his hand, gives a shy smile to me and turns away from me.

"Thanks for that."

"You have a boyfriend."

"I know I do, thanks for informing me. But that doesn't mean I can't talk to other people."

"That means you can't flirt with other people like you were doing." When we started we were whispering, but our voices kept getting louder. And cause of that, everyone was staring at us, Casey included.

"Umm, Derek, excuse me, but I don't think she was flirting with me," Casey says. "She was being a nice human being, and unless you want everyone on this plane to think she's slutty, I'd say you should tone in down a notch." I silently thank God for Casey saying that, because Derek will shut up now.

"Whatever." Derek pouts as he turns towards the window, completely ignoring me. This vacation with him is starting out just great.

"No offense or anything, but your brother seems like a dick." I just laughed.

"For a person who I just met, your pretty honest."

"Yeah, well I was taught to always tell the truth." I smiled. We kept talking for a while. Casey's a real down to earth guy, who is extremely honest and funny. If my brothers going to be a jerk, Casey's a pretty good replacement for this flight.

I got up to go to the bathroom and when I came back, Derek and Casey were talking. I casually sat down and tried to act like I wasn't paying attention to their conversation even thought that's pretty hard because I'm sitting right in between then while they're talking.

"Your actually a pretty cool guy, Casey."

"Thanks, bro." I just shook my head at Derek. That boy will be the end of me.

"Casey going to the same college as me, and we live in the same apartment building, so you'll be seeing a lot of him this week," Derek explained.

"Your only staying here for a week?" I replied with a nod.

"I'm going back cause I couldn't leave everybody. It would be to hard right now. Losing him will be enough."

"That's very understandable. my sisters coming out tomorrow, too. It seems like you guys would get along great."

"Can't wait." After that Casey turned into another big brother for me. Amazing what a four hour plane trip can do.

This week is going to be interesting. Who knows, I may come out of it with two more close friends. If Casey's sister is anything like him, then I'll have two new friends. He's crazy, funny and really easy to talk to.  Hopefully, his sister will be like this too. Because then I'll have a girl to talk to here. A week with two guys, that would be hard. So hopefully this works out.

Finally, after a four hour plane ride, we're finally in San Fransisco. I can't wait to get out and explore. When Derek had to leave the first time, I had to stay home. So, this was going to be my first time in San Fransisco, and I couldn't be more excited.
