Chapter Twenty Seven - Let's Party!

Abby's POV

San Fransisco Day 6

Yesterday, John got back from the movie store right before we got home. So when we walked in, a movie was about to start and we each had a tub of our favorite ice cream ready for us. The three of us sat on the couch and watched movies until we all feel asleep.

I woke up with my head on John's chest and my feet in Derek's lap. Waking up in between these two after what happened yesterday was perfect.

I'm over Jason, but with him being my first ever relationship, and with me thinking I was in love with him, seeing him still hurt. I now know that I didn't actually love him, I was more in love with the idea of being in love. But when he just showed up that suddenly all those memories came flashing back.

I just say there for around an hour, thinking, before John woke up.

"Morning Beautiful." And for the first time since I saw Jason, I smiled. John is completely different than Jason, in every way. I know I can trust him. I know he won't hurt me, purposefully at least, and I know no matter what he will be there for me.

"Morning," I yawn. I smile as he leans down and kisses me.

"Remind me to never fall asleep with you guys on a couch again." I break the kiss, laughing. Derek seems to always be in the weirdest situations when it comes to John and I. "Well, even though that was not the kind of waking up I would have liked, I'm still going to be a good person and make you all breakfast."

"Thanks Derek," I say as he lifts up my feet and runs into the kitchen. Whenever Derek is upset, he has to constantly be doing something. Like when he first broke up with Brianna, he constantly drank, but when we were littler, whenever he got upset he would take me out driving. Today, since we don't have a car here, he's going to cook. My way to deal with the pain is to cuddle with John. I woke up wrapped in his arms, and I stay that way until Derek calls out that breakfast is ready.

After an amazing breakfast, we all just went back to watching movies. We have all been doing so much, that I think we all needed this day of rest.

At around 6 o'clock and after our fourth movie, Casey came in. Derek must have given him a key, because he kinda just showed up.

"I have no clue what happened yesterday. But I am not letting you guys spend your last night in San Francisco sulking. So I'm going to take all of you out. Yes all of you, and I don't care what you think Derek. Your sister is old enough to go out." As soon as Casey was done with his rant, he started pulling Derek into his room.

"Guess we aren't gonna spend all day lounging around," John says, getting up, and getting ready. Soon, we are all dressed up and ready to go.

"You guys clean up pretty good," Casey admits. Derek and John are both wearing jeans and a button up. Sometimes, I wish I was a guy just because they can get ready so fast and easy. I took an hour to get ready, and the whole entire time the guys were complaining that I was taking to long. I curled my hair and I'm wearing a dress that Derek hates and John loves.

"Let's leave before we have to wait another hour for Abby to change because of Derek," John says as he follows Casey out the door.

Casey eventually gets us to a nightclub, which seems to be surrounded by run down warehouses.

"Are you sure this is safe?" Derek asks.

"Why, are you scared?" Casey taunts.

"Noo.. I'm just bringing my baby sister here and don't want to put her in danger." You can easily tell that that was a cover up. To be honest, I'm not that sure of this place yet either, but I trust Casey enough to know he won't purposefully hurt us. Soon, we are standing in front of a huge door and Casey types in a password and the door lifts, revealing a huge nightclub. We don't have anything like this in Cedarburg, not anything close to it. So, as soon as we see it, the three of us get super excited.

"Let's go party!" Casey yells before we all head off in our own directions.

John's POV

We've been here just under an hour and I've already seen Derek kiss five separate girls. I think him and Casey are having a bet on who can get the most kisses, and based on the look on Casey's face right now, I'd say Derek is winning.

Abby and I have stayed in one corner petty much the whole time, not that I'm complaining or anything. We've been dancing and making out, and sneaking in drinks whenever we know Derek isn't looking.

I turn back around to ask Abby if she wants another drunk to find out that she isn't there. I freak out until I spot her, then freak out even more. Jason is talking to her, holding both of her wrists, and her face is masked on pain. I see red. I make my way through the crowd, and brefely see Derek and Brianna talking. I can't seem to think straight as I finally reach Jason and Abby.

I tap Jason on his shoulder and as soon as he's facing me, I throw a punch, landing square on his face. Not a second later, Casey was on me, holding me back.

"As much as I want to do the same thing, that kinda thing will get you kicked out," Casey said

"Fine," I grumble as I shake him off and pull Abby into a hug.

"I was handling that just fine," Abby said, the sound muffled by my shoulder.

"Yeah well I handed that better."

"Dude! Are you okay?" Derek yells as he runs over. "I was just talking with Brianna, when I saw you punch him. I'm glad you did it, because other wise I would have and Brianna and I just talked things through!" Abby just laughed once he was done ranting and went and gave him a hug.

"This week has made me realize a lot of things. Like for one how much of a mistake it was dating that guy, but I'm happy that I did because it just eventually brought me closer to you, John. And another very important thing I've learned is how lucky I am. I have the Best guys in my life, and I don't want that to change. Now, since this is a very weird place to tell you guys how much I love you, we can either leave and talk about how amazing you guys are, or we can party and forget what just happened!" After her speech, I kissed her hard, and heard Casey yell, LET'S PARTY! and the response was a bunch of agreeing yells. Let's just say, that night was one of the best nights of my life.
