Princewill

I stared at the bubbly figure a few feet in front of me, totally unaware of my stares. The one girl that got my heart thrashing violently against my ribcage whenever I lay my eyes on her. Her beautiful black curls bounced along with her as she laughed at whatever Amaka said to her, her laughs were like a beautiful melody to my ears, her eyes lit up with excitement, her plump pink lips I so badly wanted to feel against mine again, I wish I had if we hadn't been interrupted by Kachie that day with her sorry excuse of she wanted to know what Adah would like to eat, but that didn't stop me from dreaming about it all day.

Shit! I sound like a love struck puppy

"You are lovestruck alright" I jumped at the voice next to me, turns out it was Mike

"Totally, you look like you want to eat her up" Danny snickered

"Give me a break guys, as if you don't feel the same with Janet" I pointed at Mike who instantly shut up and looked away

"I guess I'm the lucky one who's not lovestruck" laughed Danny until Mike smacked the back of his head

"Liar! I know there's something going on between you and Cynthia"

"Since whe-"

"Just lie now and you'll receive another slap" I interrupted him before he could finish his sentence

"I swear this is bullying" he rubbed the sore spot Mike had smacked as we laughed at him

"Quiet class!!" Our civic education teacher, Mr Stanley, walked into the class. We all took out our notebooks and listened attentively as he started his lesson.

"Hey psst!" I felt someone nudging my elbow

"What Mike?"

"When are you going to tell her?"

"Tell who what?" He gave me a look that said 'Are you really asking me that?'

We both stared at each other for a good five minutes before it finally registered in my brain what he was talking about, my mouth formed an o shape and he rolled his eyes

"So when are you going to tell her?" He asked me

"I don't know okay, the feeling is all too overwhelming for me and I don't even know if she feels the same for me"

"How would you know when you haven't spoken to her about your feelings?" I suddenly got pissed at what he said

"You know it's really annoying that you don't take your own advice" He looked taken aback for a second before he composed himself

"What's that suppose to mean?" He asked calmly

"Why don't you tell Janet what you feel for her, maybe then will i speak to Adah" I challenged looking him in the eyes

"Fine then, I'll confess my feelings to Janet and you must do yours, deal" He stretched his hand towards me to shake and seal the deal

I started at his outstretched hand for a while before placing mine in his "Deal"

"I've never seen anyone as stupid as the both of you" Amaka's voice rang in our ears

She stood there with a few textbooks in her hands as she stared at us disapprovingly
