Chapter 24.1 - Movie Night

"Welp looks like it's just you and me," I said looking at Mabel, admiring her as she was standing in the middle of the living room in the Mystery Shack. She was wearing a light pink sweater- which matched the color of her headband, the sweater was decorated with darker pink hearts. 

She was still wearing the same purple skirt that she usually use, with the same black shoes- which I didn't know what was called.. and white socks. The most noticeable difference was the necklace I gave her was hanging out this time, instead of being inside her sweater. 

Her twin, Dipper was hanging out with Wendy, probably watching some movie again. Soos was fixing up some stuff on the Mystery Shack, then went out and said he was going to hang out with Melody. Stan, he-... well that's a mystery, he said something about a 'business venture' and didn't explain further.

"Hey! Will!" She says holding my face on both sides, which helped me get back to reality.

"S-Sorry.. I spaced out," I said laughing nervously. I put my hands on the pocket of my jacket, trying to hide the fact- that I was reaaally nervous...

"My eyes are up here you know!" She jokes, which made me tenser.

I relaxed myself and shrugged in response, "I wasn't looking at anything! I'm just tall," I reply, humoring her with a smirk.

"No, you're not! There's only a few inches of difference."

"Then I guess you're a few inch smaller than me."  She puts her hands on the side as she pouts. It was cute.. "Alright, alright. I was just joking.. So, what do you wanna do?"

She sits down on the couch, grabbing the remote and turning the TV on. "Let's watch a few episodes of Duck-tective!"I looked at the clock on the wall. It was only the afternoon... It should be a good show to spend some time for a few hours.

"Then let's watch other movies later?" I asked as I sat down on the left side of the couch, next to her. I kinda wish I brought some other movies.. since Gravity Falls' movies are- well... I wouldn't say it's good.

"Yup!"

With that said, we watched the show for about an hour.. The show was.. interesting? Not the best, but enough to entertain the both of us. I mean it did had some time where the duck- being a detective, not making sense. Even the shows are weird as the town.

It was a chill afternoon, but soon enough we got hungry.

I put one of my hands on top of her head trying to her attention, her eyes were glued to the TV with Duck-tective still running. "Do you want some popcorn?" I asked her.

At first, we were sitting side by side, but now my whole body was on top of the couch with my feet on the other side of the armrest, it was nice as I found a perfect position, which I felt relaxed in.

Mabel.. she was in front of me, she still sat on the couch which had enough space for us. The back of her head was resting at my chest, with her feet hanging by the edge, barely touching the ground.

It felt comfortable, so neither one of us said anything about it.

"Are you hungry now?" She replies.

"Yesssss. Though, I have to cook it.." I said, lazily. I didn't really want to get off the couch. I was comfortable, but I was also hungry...
