Chapter 07 - A Weirdo or a Psycopath

"Hey! What is Mabel doing in the newspaper with that Gideon?!" Stan enters the gift shop, he holds up a newspaper with a picture of Gideon and Mabel. He looks furious. So far I've learned that Gideon is one of his rivals in the business. I wouldn't be surprised really.

"Oh yeah! It's like a big deal, everybody's talking about Gideon and Mabel's big date tonight," Wendy holds up her cellphone.

Stan looks surprised, "What?! That little shyster is dating my great-niece!?" He really does sound concerned for her..  Either that or maybe he just doesn't want her niece near the rivals.

"I didn't know, I didn't hear about it! Plus I told her not to!" Dipper says trying to stay out of trouble. Stan throws the newspaper to the floor. Going out of the living room, to get dressed I suppose. Right now he is wearing a tank shirt.

"This is not gonna end well..." I comment, Stan can get violent sometimes with other people, "Try not to kill anyone Stan," I joke, maybe a little serious.

Moments later Stan comes to the gift shop with his suit on ready to go out and maybe have a business fight. Cause you know-.. the suit? Yeah.. He also has his cane with an eight ball on top, "I won't, don't want the cops investigating me again," Sounds like he gets in trouble often. "Besides It ends tonight! I will go to that skunk's house and this is gonna stop right now!"

He opens the door, walks out, and quickly shuts it loudly.

Soos puts down the magazine his reading, "Dude, wouldn't it be funny if that was a closet, and he had to come back out again and go out the real door?" We look at him with blank stares. He approaches the door and opens it, "Nope real door."

I lightly facepalm at this, "Am I the only one getting creepy vibes from that kid?" I point out.

"What Soos? I mean we're all weird," Dipper replies.

"What? No no, I mean Gideon, when I went to his show. The 'magic' he used his too.. unusual."

"Yeah.. Even all the people of Gravity Falls seemed to like him too much, way... too much man," Wendy even agrees with me.

"Yeah, even Soos seems to obsess about it," Dipper points to Soos, we look at him, he seemed to be reading a magazine, the cover says something about both Mabel and Gideon. Damn, they publish fast.

"Look at this..!" I point the book to Dipper. Location update, right now we were at the attic in the twin's room. There's only two of us here sitting on the floor reading, Mabel was.. somewhere, no clue where.

I was looking through Journal 3, it seemed entertaining so Dipper let me read it, except that I read it here in the Mystery Shack, where no one would see me with it.

"I've seen that.. but I'm not quite sure what it's supposed to be, it looks interesting yet different from the other pages," he was right, the other pages of the journal didn't seem this complicated. It was even located in the middle of the book, which seems intentional.

Most of the other pages would be about creatures, while this certain page of the journal is full of symbols and shapes. On the bottom left of the page was a bunch of writings, symbols. It was hard to decipher what language or code is it.

At the top of the page, there was a semi-circle, with some weird patterned lines with symbols on the outer circle. The circle was connecting to a Triangle at the bottom right of the page. The triangle was weirdly shaped.

"This seems out of place.." I point out at the triangle he nods at me, "We should consider that there should be more journals.. there seems to be no more information about this, which if there are other journals, it could give us more answers..."
