We talked for probably a few hours as it was already noon. It was fun talking to her. She was definitely different from the Paz I knew from the other dimension, definitely different. This one was more stubborn and mean, though she still has a soft spot.
Apparently knew all about the things happening in Gravity Falls. The other residents though... They act like nothing is weird in Gravity Falls-.. which makes me quite skeptical how- like they've been living here for decades.
I stared at her, I've seen her other friends before and I gotta say she needs other friends. "You know, you should meet Mabel and Dipper properly," She frowned, "You gotta give them a chance, you'll like it."
"Maybe, I'm not sure yet," she lets out a small smile, "I'll think about it."
"I'll even introduce you to them."
"I've played against them on golf, it went... Interestingly."
I did remember the twins going to the golf course, "Awh, I knew I should have gone with them that time," I whined.
She laughs at my expression, "Yeah. They're pretty okay," she stands up, "I better get going. I don't think my parents care, but they still need me at home."
"Already?" I asked, "Well alright then."
"Also I want to give you something." She rummages through her bag and takes something out, "Here's a ticket for a party," She hands me a ticket, "I'd appreciate it if you would come."
"I should be free, so I'll try to," I answered with a reassuring smile.
"Okay, goodbye." she says, "And Will..."
"Yeah?" I asked, getting up from the comfortable ground.
"Thanks for being a friend," She said walking away and disappearing to the forest.
I smiled, "See you later!" I yelled, loud enough for her to still hear. "That was nice..." I mumbled to myself.
I waited for a few minutes just for her to get out of the area. I flew up, just above the trees where no one would be able to spot me. I started to head out and go in the direction of vampires.
...
It almost took half an hour just trying to find it. They really hid well. The camp had a few tents here and there. The biggest tent had people come and go a few times. I was hiding in the branches, still not sure what to do first.
I didn't really want to... kill them honestly. I mean they look like humans, but they do kill humans based on the stories-.. so maybe.
I scouted for half an hour, there were only exactly a dozen of them. I didn't know how good vampires are at combat but I didn't want to find out. Let's do this stealthily. By this time it's already dusk.
Just soon after a few of them started to gather in the biggest tent. I went down from the branches, thankfully there weren't any lookouts. They seem really laidback if so.
I was behind the tent, I could hear them talking. There seemed to be around five of them inside, "Any update on the situation?" One of them said with a deep voice.
"No. Not yet, we still have to wait," another rough voice stated.s
"When are we going to exactly attack the town?" A different voice asked, clearly impatient.
I heard paper shuffling inside, "We can attack this shack first. It's much farther from the town. No one will know."
The Shack? Wait a minute-.. There's only one shack in Gravity Falls... Now I really have to stop them. I went back to the trees, planning my next move.
Then I saw one of them leaving the camp. I took the opportunity to follow him. Guess I'll just have to take them out.. one by one. This is really messing with my moral compass...
I approached him from behind while he was still walking. The perk of flying is that I don't make footsteps. I took out the stake that I hid behind me. I gripped it tightly before driving it towards where his heart was supposed to be.
He made no sound as he fell to the floor, before slowly turning to dust. I said nothing as I went back to the camp. One down-.. Eleven more to go.
As I approached the camp I saw two of them outside the tents, thankfully in opposite ends of the camps. I went to the closest one. "How can I make him go out..." I muttered.
Then an idea came to mind. I picked up a rock and threw it through inside the forest making an audible rustle. "Who's there?" he asks turning his body towards the sound. His nails grew sharper. Yep... Don't wanna know how they do in combat.
He starts walking towards the sound. How gullible. After he went inside the forest I went behind him and struck his heart with the stake. I moved on to the next one without comment.
I did the same as I threw a rock. "Who's there?" He says turning towards the sound. Are these guys bots or something? I drove the stake behind him, turning him to dust.
Then I heard one of the tents open. I turned around to see a vampire leaving one of the tents near me. Before he could notice me, I threw the stake straight at him while controlling it nailing him straight through the head, turning him to dust.
"That was close..."
I sneaked around the camp, going inside tents. Three of them were still sleeping, which I quickly killed them. Soon enough there were five left which was at the last tent. I was next to the tent where I could still hear them talking.
Then another idea came to mind. I went inside the forest trying to find something. There it was just near the camp was a huge boulder. I thought nothing of it, as I used all my power to lift it up. I quickly placed it above the tent, before dropping it.
The tent quickly collapses and there were no sounds that came out of the tent, which signifies that no one survived. The only thing standing there was the boulder, with the tent below it.
I quickly left not bothering to check for anything.
