Chapter 33

*phone ringing*

I slowly flickered my eyes as I woken up to my phone ringing. huh...what time is it?

*looks at clock*

5:34 pm

I sure did sleep for a long time huh.

I finally grabbed my phone and checked the caller ID to my surprise it's Bambam.

"hello?"

[Lisa! hey wassup? are you free right now?]

"yeah, nothing much to do today...got my work done early." I told him as I rubbed my eyes.

[great! I'll be there in a sec!] he says and drops the call.

*knockings on the door*

tsk he didn't even give me the time to fix myself. I lazily walked to the door and opened it for Bambam who was wearing casual clothes.

"what are you up to now?" I asked but he was just smiling at me. he dragged me outside then immediately disappeared with me not even giving me a chance to speak up.

I opened my eyes to a different place, this place was so familiar not only to my eyes but to my whole body.

Taehyung suddenly came out of nowhere, he was holding onto something.....something that means a lot to me.

"you look fully recovered now, that's good to know" he says and smiles. He then handed me the object he was holding, it was my guitar...my very first one.

taehyung sat right beside Bambam and looked around.

"why bring me here? you know how I feel about this place" I told them but I had no answer so I walked to them and sat beside them aswell.

"I don't know...I just thought I'd ask bambam to take you here" Taehyung says and looked at my guitar.

"you always hate playing the guitar yet you owned one ever since you became a reaper. I then assumed that you still wanted to try it but too scared to do so." he continues.

I looked down, why the hell is he saying all these things all of a sudden?

"I don't know why but it seemed like that all changed when this specific girl asked you to play. It was like that bitter feeling from the past faded away huh?" he says and smiles.

"Taehyung....whatever you're trying to say, I'm gonna tell you right now that I do not have any feelings for that girl" I told him seriously. I knew that this conversation was going to that path.

"no actually, I won't force you to tell me those things. I'm in no position to do so, but as you brother who cares for you...I highly suggest you to keep her" He says and that made me speechless.

"You've changed a lot, haven't you noticed that?" Bambam asked. and I looked at them confused.

"the way your eyes look...they sparkle now..."

"the way you talk, the way you look at people, and the fact that you smile now. Honestly at first, it scared me because I was worried I'll lose you for who you were the first time I met you but after seeing you smile, it made me realize that that's the best thing a best friend would ever see." Bambam says, I again was speechless....I couldn't say a thing. I looked at my guitar as my fingers touched its strings....

"I did change huh....is that a good thing or a bad thing?" I asked them. Bambam then shrugged but what confused me was Taehyung's expression. He looked like he was unsure or something.

"what is it?" I asked him but he just shook his head and pat me at the back.

"I don't know, Lis...I say embrace the feeling while it's there" he says and smiles before he disappeared together with bambam leaving me with my guitar on the abandoned stage I first performed at.

I sighed and strum the guitar, it doesn't play the same like before but the feeling is still there. It's been a while since I held this, I don't even remember the number of years but I'd say I did change throughout those years, especially now.

about Jennie...she was just the girl I was so annoyed with. I couldn't even stay sane while I'm with her because she was that annoying. She was always in my nerves but yet here she is making me feel weird things that I kept on denying. Why am I stopping it though? is it because I'm scared to love again? damn, Jennie...you're back in my head again.

*the day of Lisa and Jennie's trip*

Jisoo's POV

"hey, rosie I've heard of this new place just near us. they serve good food, we should definitely go there for lunch ye know" I told Rosé who was busy watching k-drama on her laptop.

"alright, just wait for me to finish preparing then we'll be on our way" she smiles and headed to her room. Yeah, we don't share rooms, but we'll soon share one hehe

after awhile she came out of her room looking really good, she's always so pretty anyway...there really isn't a time where she isn't.

"hey, did Jennie reply about the assignment she still has with Mr.Min?" she asks as I was locking the door of our apartment.

"no, I don't think so...she's probably busy or something, she did tell me that she has plans on going home this vacation, she just didn't mention any time so she's probably at her hometown " I told her. "we should stop by anyway to make sure that she received the message" She replied and I nodded as response.

Me and Rosé were walking together to Jennie's apartment. As we got closer I suddenly noticed someone familiar who standing infront of the building.

"hey....is that Lisa I see in the distance?" I asked Rosé. "huh...oh wait, yeah I think so. what's she doing here?" I shrugged and we eventually reached Lisa.

"oi! Lisa!" I called her attention. She turned to her side after hearing my voice and she looked surprised to see us.

"oh, Jisoo and Rosé...uhm hi" she shyly greets us. I actually don't think I ever saw her being really talkative with other people except Jennie, hays I honestly think that something's happening between them but then again who am I to jump into conclusions at once right?

"hey there! what are you doing here?" Rosé asked. "I just came from Jennie's front door, but it seems like no one's home" she says. she seems like she's being careful of what she says...is she hiding something? "I'll go ahead" she excused herself and we both nodded and bid our goodbyes

"owp, see Park Chaeyoung? I told you that she's not here, she's probably at home or something." I told Rosé but she seems uneasy. "why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Rosé looked at me with full of worry.

"It's all just in your head, come on..I'm hungry already~" I whined and started pulling her wrist.

Me and Rosé are currently in the restaurant and I started digging in but Rosé seems to be bothered with something.

"what's bothering you?" I asked straightforwardly, she looks at me with those concered eyes and sighed.

"it's about Lisa..." She started and my eyebrows knitted, what about her?

"she seems like she's hiding something don't you think? I mean...I know we've been through a lot of things with her lately but still...we haven't acknowledged the fact that she was still such a mysterious person before she got close to us." She says and started moving her food with chopsticks.

"hmm I did think that something was off with her before but I see her as a close friend right now. I don't think it's nice to think of her that way especially now that something seems to be happening between her and Jennie. We wouldn't want to be those kind of friends do we?" I told her as gentle as I could making her understand my point. It really isn't nice to see that we're judging someone that is important to our bestfriend.

"I know....I guess I just have that bad gut feeling" she says and looks away.

"you know what? I think you're just hungry, here have some meat...it's really good!" I fed her the meat and smiled as I waited for her reaction.

"It's good right?" I asked and she nodded.
