Chapter 12

Jennie's POV

I'm now off to the music room to meet Rosé and Jisoo. I'm sure they'll reprimand me again for not telling them why I didn't attend my classes yesterday but oh well, they still love me anyways.

I entered the room and realized that I was early since the other bandmates aren't even here yet. It was just Rosé and Jisoo talking on the corner.

"hey guys!" I greeted and I accidentally startled them causing Jisoo to almost fall off her chair.

"geez, Jen...you really need to stop scaring me like that. You're not a damn ghost" she says and I pulled out a peace sign.

"hey, where have you been yesterday?? yhe professors were looking for you." Rosé says. "You're aware that you have lots of requirements to chase because of you going back to Busan right?" Jisoo adds and I just sighed.

"I was sick yesterday, I really wasn't planning on skipping classes but I couldn't even get up from bed."

"wait what? why didn't you tell us? we could have been there to take care of you. We were worried sick" Rosé says and I just smiled at her. "it's alright, I'm feeling way better now. Is Lisa here?" I asked since I wanted to thank her for yesterday.  I woke up with her gone already, Ryujin told me that she went home, I didn't even get to say thank you to her.

"nope, it's still pretty early for practice. I'm sure she'll be here later."

"hmmm I'm noticing something about that Manoban.." Jisoo says and placed her thumb and index finger under her chin. Rosé looked at her and raised her brow. "like what?" Rosè asked.

"don't you think that you're getting a bit too close to her? I mean, I know for a fact that you just met her a few days ago and as you said she seems nice but we all know that we don't know her fully yet. She's acting really suspicious you know?" Jisoo says and Rosé stopped to think.

"You're probably just getting jealous of Lisa because everyone here is talking about her talent. she's getting famous and you can't accept that fact" Rosé chuckled and Jisoo shook her head. "no, there's really something about her that bugs me. I mean, scratch that...it's not something, EVERYTHING about her is bugging me" Jisoo replied.

"Hey, I know Lisa is a good person, I can feel it. Give her a chance, Jichu....please?" I said and showed my puppy eyes to her. she rolled her eyes as she looked away.

"Fine, just....don't be attached to her yet. I don't like you getting hurt because of someone" Jisoo says. I just nodded and hugged her to cheer her up.

Jisoo has always been a big sister to me. to be honest, I might be with Rosé most of the time but me and Jisoo have a deep connection, I know the most about her. It's not that we're making Rosé the odd one out, I couldn't share it to Rosé because Jisoo doesn't want to confess her feelings to Rosé yet.

yeah, I'm the only person who knows about Jisoo having a crush on Rosé, her being bestfriends with her crush could be an advantage and a disadvantage. It's an advantage because the fact that Jisoo likes her won't be obvious because they're just bestfriends but it's also a disadvantage because Jisoo isn't sure if Rosé could think of her more than just a bestfriend.

It's complicated really...but I've been shipping them for such a long time now and sometimes I'm getting impatient with Jisoo but who am I to force her, I know that she'll confess at the right time and I'll be here to support her all the way.

I checked my watch and my eyes widen when I noticed the time.

"I got classes!" I blurted out and that startled them both.

"then what are you still doing here?!?! go to your class you silly dumpling" rosé chuckled and started pushing me away.

"right, I'll be back later to catch up with you two!" I said as I ran out of the room. hays, how could I possibly forget that I have classes this afternoon. I swear I was thinking of it earlier but I lost that thought when I decided to go to the music room to see my friends.

Third Person's POV

Jennie came rushing back to the music room after her class. it took 2 hours for her class to finish and she almost got eaten by her own boredom.

she was just grateful that she finished that class and is now off to see her friends and the one person she's been expecting to see the whole day.

she entered to room silently this time, not trying to make a commotion in case they were practicing. She got in and she had the right thought, they were all practicing and Rosé was standing in the middle singing like an angel.

Jennie made her way to the chairs where Jisoo was sitting while watching the band perform.

"hi" Jennie greeted Jisoo. Jisoo immediately ruffled Jennie's hair and chuckled,"how was class?" she asked.

"it's boring, I've been waiting for so long to come back here." Jennie replied and started searching for Lisa. She was looking but it seems like she couldn't find the tall grumpy head.

"who are you looking for huh?" Jisoo nudged Jennie's shoulder lightly but Jennie didn't even mind her, she was too focused on finding Lisa.

"if you're looking for Lisa then you won't see her here. She didn't attend their practice." Jennie immediately snapped out when she heard what Jisoo said.

"what? she didn't come? but why??" Jennie asked but Jisoo just shrugged. "don't ask me, I ain't Lisa okay?" she says and Jennie just rolled her eyes.

"hey, just don't think of her for awhile. Since you're here, let's just watch Rosé and her band perform, aight?" Jisoo says and Jennie had no choice but to say yes. It's not that Jennie didn't want to watch the band, she was worried about Lisa not showing up on their practice.

"hey look at Rosé, do you hear her singing?? she's so amazing....she's really giving me reasons to love her more each day" Jisoo says and that made Jennie squeal inside. She was sure that if Rosé had heard that, she would be really flustered.

"why don't you confess already...I mean, what are you still waiting for? assurance?" Jennie asked but Jisoo just shook her head and smiled.

"I'm not waiting for an assurance, Jen. If you really love someone then you won't look for an assurance just so you could know whether she can love you back the way you do to her. I guess I'm just waiting for the right timing. It's coming real soon don't worry, I'll let you know when" Jisoo chuckles and ruffled Jen's hair again.

Jennie gave her a bad look for ruining her hair but turned her attention to her bestfriend, Rosé, right after fixing her hair. Jisoo was indeed right, Rosè is really giving anyone who has fallen for her reasons to love her more. She had trust with Jisoo, she knows that Jisoo would take good care of her bestfriend and she hopes that they would have a great future together.

but something suddenly struck her....

she realized that she might not even be here anymore to know if her two bestfriends are actually meant for each other. She might not even witness her bestfriends' success....She might not be there anymore to see the things she always looked forward to see. It was sad, really sad but she knew that she had no choice but to accept her fate.

"hey, are you okay? you're thinking really deep how about a penny for your thoughts?" Jisoo asked and Jennie forced a smile at her as she shook her head. "I'm good, don't worry...let's just enjoy the show" She says and averted her attention to the band again.
