Chapter 21

Jennie's POV

I checked my watch and the guys in the music room should be leaving by now. I was called by a professor for an important matter and I'm currently rushing my way back.

I went inside and saw everyone packing up. They're all done with practice and Ji-eun was standing right infront of me.

"Oh, Jen! I already dismissed them since  it's already time, I didn't know when you'll come back so I kinda decided on my own" she says and gave me an apologetic smile.

"oh it's okay, it's a good thing that you did" I smiled then helped Jungkook with his stuff after IU said goodbye.

"oh hey, noona" He greets with his bunny smile. He was moving the parts of the drums in the storage room. I started helping him too making it easier and quicker to finish.

"thanks" he says.

"it's nothing big" I told him and softly chuckled. Jungkook said goodbye and I waited until there was no one inside the music room so I could lock it myself. It was a whole day practice which means that there will be no practices for tomorrow, it's just a whole day of classes which sucks but I guess it is what it is.

I took my stuff and headed out then locked the door. As I turned to my right to leave, I was surprised to see Lisa leaning an the wall like she was waiting for something.

"what are you doing?" I asked and that caught her attention. She looked at me then stood properly, still with her guitar hanging on her shoulder.

"you? what are you doing?" she asked back. I rolled my eyes, she always does this to me.

"I was locking the door" I told her even though she probably knew what I was doing.

"no, I meant why are you here for the whole day. Didn't you have any class?" she asked.

"I was excused for the whole day to mainly look after the band. Rosé isn't around so I took her responsibilities for the meantime." I explained and she nodded slowly as she walked towards me.

She stopped a meter away from me then looked at me from head to toe. She's at it again with those stares.

"that's a very generous thing to do for a friend." she says then looked at her watch.

"well duh, Rosé's one of my bestfriends of course I'd do it." I answered back.

"It's currently dismissal,  planning to go somewhere?" she asked which made me quite surprised, Lisa Manoban asking me my plans? wow.

"uhm nothing really, I'm quite exhausted. I'll prolly just hit the hay" I casually told her and she nodded again.

"okay then, I'll come with you." she says casually and that surprised me again.

"you're gonna walk me home?" I asked but she just shook her head. "I need to meet someone near your apartment so I'll just go with you since Jisoo seems to be busy with soccer practice" she says. Oh...so she's seeing someone?

"isn't that the same thing? you're gonna walk me home either way" I just chuckled as I looked at her. she once agakn shook her head and gave me an amused smile before walking away, leaving me again!

We were walking together, the distance between us became closer now. I guess she's getting comfortable with me? that's really good...

She was walking ahead of me so I had the chance to observe her from behind. I could see her side profile from here, I always see her face but I could never guess what she's thinking of.
