Lisa's POV

I sighed as I stared at my phone. I am still trying to call Jennie but she still won't answer. I'm starting to get worried...

I opened the door to the convenience store...I walked here thinking that she might be here buying ice cream or something. I walked up to the cashier and the lady greeted me.

"hi, uhm I just wanted to ask if you've seen a woman who has cheeks like dumplings? she always wears this cute gummy smile?" I asked the cashier.

"oh, the lady who always buys ice cream. No, I haven't seen her today ma'am" she replies nicely. I then nodded and bid my goodbye before leaving the store. So she hasn't been there...where could she have gone.

Taehyung's POV

I found myself lurking around Lisa's old house. It's all abandoned right now because her family refused to sell it a long time ago. I don't know why I'm trying to dig up her past when I'm not supposed to.

I entered the house and it was all dusty and broken. this place used to be so clean looking. She almost reached her dreams her hatred for love destroyed everything she worked on.

empty bottles of alcohol were still everywhere. I wandered around until I reached her office I slowly opened the door and entered it.

the place suddenly started changing....It was still dark but everything looked new and unbroken.

I saw Lisa sitting on her chair looking so lifeless. I looked into her eyes and it was all empty. She was holding a bottle of whiskey on her hand and I picture frame on the other. She was staring at the picture as her tears started dripping down.

I walked up to her and saw the picture of her and another woman...they looked so happy in the picture, especially Lisa. Lisa chugged the bottle of alcohol again and threw the bottle across the room making a loud sound of glass shattering all around the room.

She shouted her lungs out as she continued crying. I wanted to hug her but I knew I couldn't....I wasn't able to do anything.

one thing caught my eye though...it was the piece of newspaper on her desk.

"BREAKING: A PLANE CRASH HAS BEEN REPORTED THIS MORNING WITH MORE THAN A HUNDRED PEOPLE ON BOARD, NO SURVIVORS WERE REPORTED ON THE CRASH"

wait....I thought the woman she loved left her for another man that's why she killed herself? a plane crash? how did I not know about this?

Everything started to go back to normal again. I was standing inside an empty dusty room, I am the only person here and the desk is gone.

so all this time, Lisa wasn't scared of loving someone....she's scared of losing the person she loves.

*phone vibrating*

I grabbed my phone and checked what the notification was about. I suddenly dropped my phone as I read what was written on it....

this can't be...

Third Person's POV

a few days had passed and Lisa went back to fetching souls. she was still dead worried about Jennie but she figured that she might be back at home so she decided to distract herself by doing her job for the whole day....restless....

She was starting to be back to her normal self. Lifeless and cold, Bambam even tried to invite her to hang out but she always refused and always reasoned out the lots of souls were waiting for her.

She also realized that without Jennie she felt like everything was peaceful, too peaceful that it was annoying. It was strange because she always wanted peace but now all she wants was to hear that annoying voice coming out of her most annoying person, Jennie....
