Lisa and Jennie stayed at the bridge after seeing Chloe off. Jennie had calm down and they were both in the comfort of silence and the cold breeze.

"so....you do this everyday? how did you get used to it?" Jennie asked as she gazed upon the distance.

"yeah, but I never got used to it....especially with the kids. I don't think I could ever get used to this." Lisa replies.

"though having the thought of them going to a better place than this world makes it bearable."

silence surfaced the atmosphere between them. though even if it was silent, it somehow didn't feel awkward for the both of them.

"let me come with you when you send someone off" Jennie suddenly spoke. Lisa looked at her with a questioning look.

"you just witnessed how hard it is to see someone off, why come with me?" Lisa asked curious with what Jennie has to answer.

"so you could share the pain your bearing while taking them away" Jennie simply says and smiles. It might seem to be a simple request for Jennie but it meant a lot to Lisa.

the next day.....

Jennie's POV

*knock**knock*

someone has been knocking on the door for quite a while now so I lazily got up and went for the door with my drowsy look.

I had just woken up after a very exhausting day yesterday, Lisa and I went for streetfoods yesterday then went straight home right after.

*opens door*

My eyebrows furrowed when I saw Lisa before me with a huge luggage with her.

"what are you doing?" I asked and she just gave me a look of disbelief. "so you don't remember our supposed trip?" she says it rang a bell in my head.

"ohhh wait we're going now??" I asked panicking and she just nodded. "isn't it obvious? go and pack your things before I do it myself" she says and I came to my senses and went straight to my bedroom to pack.

"uhm go grab some snacks in the fridge! I went grocery shopping a few days ago so there are plenty in there!" I shouted from my bedroom. I couldn't accommodate her because I was busy packing so she needs to do it herself.

"I'm good with snacks, crazy dumpling, I just had my breakfast" she says and there I stopped as I realized I haven't had my breakfast yet. nevermind, I could probably still hold out until lunch.

I continued packing and preparing myself for half an hour then finally got out of my room. Lisa was on the couch listening to music.

"oh, you're finally done. let's go?" she stands up and took my luggages.

"uhm we have to stop at Jisoo and Rosé's first!" she looked at me with confusion, I then went to Ryujin's room and came back with something on my hands.

"It's Ryujin's kittens, she just got them and asked me to take care of them for a few days since she's on a vacation. They need lots of care and affection okay?" I told her and she looked at me with an unbelievable look then sighed and nodded.

"alright alright, bring your twins and let's get on the road" she says and walks out of the apartment with all the luggages. I followed her with the kittens on my hand and a smile on my face.

I got in the car and placed the kittens on my lap, Ryujin didn't want to leave them but she had no choice. A few moments later Lisa also got in the car and looked at the kittens then to me.

"I feel like I'm looking at the same thing but the other is moodier" she chuckled in a mocking way causing me to roll my eyes on her.
