Chapter 38

"what the hell happened?" Taehyung appeared right infront of us as soon as I called him on the phone. His eyes widened as she saw Jennie on my arms still unconscious.

"shit! did you just take her soul?!?!?!" Taehyung freaked out.

"No you idiot, she fainted when we teleported"

"you what??? wait, then she knows what you are? Lisa-"

"Taehyung...please, not now....help me. save all your words later, I'm begging" Lisa said as she looked so concerned about Jennie not waking up. the feeling of fear wasn't always pleasant for her because she doesn't usually feel scared at all.

Taehyung immediately helped her carry Jennie and got out of the campus thanks to Taehyung's connections with all the people in the university. He also called Bambam to pick them up as soon as they got out of the campus.

"holy shit is that Jennie? what the hell happened?" Bambam asked when they all got in the car.

"drive us to her apartment" Taehyung said intently making Bambam question no longer and drove as fast as he could.

they arrived and Lisa had carried Jennie bridal style inside the apartment. Ryujin was surprised to see her unnie together with Lisa and a tall handsome man.

"is unnie okay?" Ryujin asked. Lisa wasn't able to answer because she went straight to Jennie's room so Taehyung had to do the talk.

"she'll be fine. can you get some medicine from the store nearby?" Taehyung asks politely. Ryujin nodded and went out to buy medicine.

"okay now that we're alone, what the fuck did you do, Lisa?" Taehyung roared, frustration was shown all over his face. Lisa couldn't do anything but feel guilty for what happened to Jennie.

"look...I could trust her-"

"that's not a reasonable excuse when her safety is on the line" Taehyung says and looked at Jennie who was on the bed.

Jennie's POV

I slowly flickered my eyes as I was getting a clearer vision. My eyebrows furrowed when I realized that I'm back in my room.

"oh, you're finally awake. what a good timing" Ryujin entered my room with a tray of miso soup.

"what happened?" I asked as I felt my head stinging a bit.

"well, you were rushed here by Lisa and a handsome looking man. the handsome guy left tho, he said he had some things to do but he was so kind and gentle. you never mentioned anything about him, unnie, who is he?" Ryujin asked but I just furrowed my brows. I tell Ryujin everything so it's impossible that she won't know any of my friends who comes here. who could he be? don't tell me....

"where's Lisa?" I asked.

"she went outside to get some air, she's been waiting for you to wake up since awhile ago. are you feeling better though?" Ryujin worriedly asked.

I smiled and nodded. I then got out of my bed, Ryujin even wanted me eat first but I refused, I wasn't even feeling hungry, I don't even know why I fainted.

I got out and looked for Lisa, I didn't realize how late it was. I guess I slept for so long...she wasn't downstairs so she's probably on the rooftop.

I went up the rooftop catching my breath since I was walking a lot. gosh I get tired so quickly these past few days.

I finally saw her figure standing right at the edge, she doesn't seem to care whether she's this high up.

"how are you feeling?" she suddenly asked which caught me off guard. she knows that in here.
