Chapter 26

Jennie's POV

it's my vacant in the afternoon today, I just came from my morning classes and I must say that they were horrible. There were so many things to study and difficult formulas to remember.

I flopped myself on a chair near an empty desk and placed my stuff down. I'm currently inside the library all by myself since the two were busy with their schedule today. I grabbed my phone and checked my schedule. music festival is in a few days, I can't wait to see the band perform.

"hmm I wonder where Lisa is, Rosé told me earlier that they finished practice since awhile ago. She must be here" I stood up and walked around and looked at every section to see if she was fixing bookss somewhere.

as I reached the end I saw the person I wanted to see. She looks lifeless as usual but she's a bit too cold today.

"hey!" I greeted her nicely. she placed the book on the shelf then looked at me.

"hey" she replies. I then walked beside her and started helping her with the books she's arranging.

"thanks for taking care of me the other day, Lis. It's really embarassing to have you take care of me everytime" I told her but she just continued placing the books on the shelves.

"if you're getting embarassed then stop getting yourself sick." she says with a monotone voice. I just pouted.

"well I really didn't expect you to be the one to take care of me. I could handle myself you know?" I told her but she just shook her head.

"I would argue with you right now but I'm not in the mood so you better go off and study" my eyebrows knitted with what she said. I was about to ask her more questions but I decided not to, I didn't want to annoy her more since she's not in the mood.

I flopped myself back onto the chair right after I got all the books I need. After awhile, I decided to just study at the apartment later since I already took down some notes from the books I got. I  looked at the desk where Lisa usually sits on but Soobin was there, hmmm so she left?

After gathering all my stuff and putting back all the books, I went straight to the cafeteria to meet Rosé and Jisoo. They said that they're in good terms already and I don't have to worry about a single thing which sounds great. I really hate seeing them have a misunderstanding.

"hey, Jen!" Rosé greeted and hugged me. Jisoo just looked at me and smiled. "hmm you guys seem to be in a good mood?" I told them but they just looked at each other then back at me again.

"I already confessed" Jisoo says with a smile on her face.

"no way..." I covered my mouth with my hand as I looked at Jisoo. So she really did it?? wahhh

"yup, I can't believe that she didn't tell me earlier. I could have been more careful with my words" she chuckles and pushed Jisoo away gently.

"ayt, I was nervous okay? Jennie can back me up on that" Jisoo says and hang her arm on my shoulder.

"well, what matters is that you both aren't ignoring each other anymore. We could finally hang out without feeling awkward" I told them and they agreed.

"so where do you guys want to go? my treat" Rosé says with her usual happy expression.

"wait, you guys are planning to go somewhere? I thought you just wanted to talk about something" Jennie says.

"no girl!!! it's been so long since we went out together, come on" Rosé says. I bit my lower lip and checked my watch, I have to attend my last class in 15 mins.

"don't tell me you've got classes..." Jisoo says and looked at her in a suspicious way.

Jennie gave them an awkward smile then scratched her head.
