I let myself into Grace and Tatum's apartment finding Grace on the couch. I was picking Tatum up for our little one year anniversary weekend trip,

"Hey Ash" Grace waved as I headed to Tatum's room, "Oh I'm pretty sure she's still asleep. She didn't get in until like 2 am"

"What was she doing?" I laughed,

"She went night surfing with her surf friends" Grace shrugged, "She had to ice her knee after so I don't think she went to bed until like 3:30"

"Good thing she can sleep in the car" I joked.

I entered Tatum's room, closing the door behind me. She was still sound asleep, curled up under her comforter. I could barely see her due to the darkness, but the sunlight peeking through the crack in the shades helped. I walked over to the bed and leaned over her, pushing her blonde hair away from her face,

"Baby" I whispered, planting kisses across her face. She rolled on her back from her side, her nose scrunching as I kissed her,

"Hey baby. Want to get up? You can go back to sleep in the car" I spoke.

Tatum let out a yawn and threw her arms around my neck,

"Morning" she yawned, her eyes finally opening. She pressed her lips to mine. Once she pulled back she sat up and rubbed her eyes,

"Can I give you my present before we leave? It's in a bigger bag" she asked. I nodded and she pushed me to sit on her bed. She got up and grabbed a bag, handing it to me then sitting next to me crisscrossed.

I pulled the tissue paper out then pulled two records out, except they weren't records to play. They were two records that had pictures of the two of us on them. It was actually really cool and cute. I always like having things like this to hang up,

"Sorry it's not much" Tatum pouted, "I just really didn't know what to get"

"I love it baby" I pecked her lips, "But you aren't getting your gift until tomorrow," I told her, knowing the ring is tucked in my bag along with the house key that was being used to signify asking her to move in.

We finally got on the road after a coffee stop. We had about an hour drive to the little camper I had rented.

Tatum was now sound asleep in the passenger seat. She was all laid back, curled up in a little ball, holding my hand to her chest.

Tatum woke up as we pulled up to the campground. She sat her seat up as I rolled my window down to check-in,

"Irwin," I told the guy. He nodded and looked at the computer,

"Alrighty" he spoke, handing me a packet and a key, "You're at spot 9"

I thanked him and started on the gravel road. I was mentally groaning knowing that my Range Rover is about to be covered with dust and maybe a few scratches.

I parked in the designated spot and Tatum and I got out,

"This is so cute!" Tatum beamed, taking my hand. I smiled and unlocked the small camper.

It was nice for being small. The bed was against the back on one side. There was a nice counter and sink, along with a small fridge. There was even electricity,

"I'm assuming that little building right outside is the toilet and shower" Tatum shrugged. I nodded in return.

"Let's get our stuff in here then we can go explore" I kissed my girlfriend and the two of us walked back out to my car, grabbing everything and going back in.
