I woke up without Ashton next to me. I've woken up like this a lot. He gets up early and heads downstairs to work on his album. I'm not upset about it because I'm so proud of what he's doing. I think was he's creating is genius and it will really help people.

I got out of bed and grabbed my phone, seeing the reminder about my appointment today. I smiled and made my way to the kitchen, getting what I needed out for my eggs.

The whole time I was eating, I could hear Ashton downstairs. He was banging away on the drums and singing loudly. I usually don't mind but I already had a headache and the loud noise wasn't helping.

I finished up my breakfast and walked outside and took a seat, scrolling through my phone until I got a call from my doctor,

"Hello?" I answered quickly,

"Hi. I'm calling regarding your appointment at 2:00. We just wanted to let you know that since we are supposed to be learning the genders today, your husband can attend as well" the lady spoke, making a smile appear on my face,

"Thank you so much!" I beamed,

"Absolutely. We will see you all at 2:00"

As soon as she hung up, I was in the house and racing downstairs, startling Ashton who was jumping around in just his sweatpants. He quickly went and turned the music off before sitting down,

"It sounds good bub" I pushed his hair back and let my arms wrap over his shoulders,

"Thanks. It's almost done. I have a few things to do and I want to do a music video for Skinny Skinny. I have a lady who's gonna teach me some dance for it"

"That'll be awesome" I smiled,

"What's up? You okay?" he finally asked, pulling me to sit on his lap and resting his hands on my bump,

"I got a call from the doctor," I told him, watching emotions fly, "They said you can come today"

Ashton's face lit up and he was scrambling for his phone,

"I gotta text the boys and tell them I won't be in the interview!"

Ashton parked in the parking garage of the doctor and was jumping out of the car. The whole ride he was bouncing with excitement. He's excited to know what we're having but also excited so we can start buying things. We haven't gotten anything but Anne has gifted us because we wanted to wait until we knew what we were having and we knew for sure that they were okay.

Ashton opened my door and I wiggled out. We both pulled on our masks and headed inside, going back to a room immediately.

Ashton was still giddy. He didn't sit down like I had begged him to. Instead, he walked around and told me how we were furniture shopping tonight and how we had to come up with names. I just sat there and grinned. I was so happy he was so excited.

Dr. Stevens entered and nodded to us,

"Good to see you again Mr. Irwin" she spoke, sitting in the rolling chair,

"You as well" Ashton nodded, "Thank you for letting me be here"

"Of course. This is a big appointment" she laughed then grabbed a few things and got set up for the ultrasound.

Ashton finally took a seat and held my hand as Dr. Stevens moved over my stomach, our babies popping up on the screen,

"Everything is looking good" she hummed, "Baby A is still bigger than Baby B"

"We might have some competition" Ashton joked, making me nod with a laugh,

"Want to know what you're having?" Dr. Stevens asked. Ashton and I looked at each other then nodded,

"Okay let's see" she spoke and turned to the screen, "Baby A is a girl and it looks like Baby B is a boy"

I looked at Ashton who was already crying,

"Oh my God" he laughed and leaned down, pressing his forehead to mine. He couldn't kiss me since we had our masks on.

Ashton kissed me as soon as we were in the car,

"We're having a boy and a girl" he grinned,

"I was hoping it'd be like that" I smiled,

"God I can't wait to tell everyone! I'm so fucking excited!"

"Me too babe" I grinned, "Me too"
