I paddled in from practicing and carried my board up the beach and took a seat on my towel and laid back. Suddenly, my sun was blocked and there was a presence above me.

I peaked my eyes open and Ashton was holding himself over me.

"Hey" he grinned and kissed me,

"What're you doing?" I asked as he rolled off to the side and sat next to me,

"Came to pick my girl up. I believe I promised a trip to the zoo" he grinned. I know my smile grew,

"Really" I beamed and hugged him,

"Of course! I took my sister's car and everything!" He laughed,

"I need to go to the hotel first and shower" I told him. He nodded and stood, grabbing my board for me.

I hopped in the shower while Ashton was laying on my bed. I washed the sand and saltwater from my hair then got out. I dried my hair and quickly got dressed and put on a little makeup then walked back into the room,

"Gorgeous as always" Ashton smiled, standing from the bed. I smiled and grabbed my backpack purse,

"Ready?" Ashton extended his hand. I nodded and took it and walked with Ashton back towards the beach where he had parked his sisters car.

"So, my mom wants you to come to dinner tonight" Ashton spoke up, squeezing my hand. My eyes widened,

"I know we've only been dating for like a month. I'll tell her you have surf stuff but she's begging to meet you.." Ashton started rambling,

"Ashton. It's fine. I'll come" I told him, even though I was freaking out. Ashton smiled and nodded,

"Thank you" he breathed.

We got to the zoo and we went through pretty quickly but slowed when we got to the koalas,

"Come on. You can hold one" Ashton grinned and led me over.

We walked into this enclosure and a worker walked over with one of the koalas and handed it over. I was holding it like a baby and grinning. Ashton was taking a bunch of pictures.

"You're so cute" Ashton mumbled making my face go red,

"Let's get going so these little kids can have a turn" Ashton teased. I laughed and the worker took the koala.

Ashton and I got back in the car. We were about to go to his mom's house and I'm freaking out,

"Hey, it'll be okay. My moms chill. She's going to love you and I'm pretty sure my siblings will too" he told me and gave my thigh a squeeze. I nodded and Ashton leaned over the console, bringing a hand to my cheek.

I leaned into his touch and pressed my lips to his, one of my hands going to the back of his neck, playing with the low curls.

Ashton pulled me a little closer, making my other hand land on his upper thigh,

"Fuck" Ashton groaned and pulled back. I eyed him then noticed my hand,

"Sorry" I giggled,

"If we weren't going to my mom's and if this wasn't my sister's car, I'd have to have you help me. We just better hope this goes away before we arrive" he wide eyed.
