"Wake up Tate" I heard whispered and felt my body being lightly shaken. So I ignored it,

"I know you're awake" I heard a giggle, a giggle I instantly recognized. I then felt a kiss on my cheek.

I rolled over and opened my eyes, coming face to face with Ashton,

"Morning" I mumbled as he brought his face down, kissing my lips,

"Morning" he smiled, "Now, I know you're sleepy but I have something planned for today and we need to go" he told me, helping me sit up. I was still tired so I just nodded and dragged myself up and got dressed,

"You do know I landed at 1 am and it's currently 6 am" I whined. Ashton chuckled and followed me out the door,

"Yes, Princess, I do" he laughed, opening the passenger door, letting me get in and buckle, "but that's why I've got you a blanket and a pillow" he pulled the items from the backseat,

"You're the best" I grinned as I got myself situated. He shut the door and then got in the drivers seat,

"We've got a two hour drive. Then we will stop and eat breakfast before we go to what I've got planned. So sit there and go to sleep" he told me. I nodded and turned towards him, the seat leaned back, and took his one hand and held it as I closed my eyes.

I dozed off for about an hour. I slowly woke up, sitting up in my seat. Ashton's hand was still in mine,

"Morning" Ashton glanced over, giving my hand a squeeze,

"Morning" I smiled, tossing the pillow in the backseat, but kept the blanket over my lap, "How much longer?"

"About an hour" Ashton told me, turning the radio up a little.

And an hour later, we pulled off an exit and I saw the sign,

"San Diego?" I questioned,

"Mhm. But before we go to what the thing I actually have planned is, let's get some breakfast. I know this amazing place" he grinned as we pulled into the city.

Ashton parked in front of this place called 'Breakfast Republic' and the two of us got out and went in. We both ordered omelets and coffee and now had to wait,

"I've never been to San Diego. I was supposed to surf once but I got really sick" I spoke,

"We've performed here quite a few times. That's how I knew about this restaurant" Ashton told me.

Our food came out and it was pretty good. I'm not really a breakfast person but I liked this,

"Alright, let's get out of here. I have a really good feeling you're gonna like what we're doing" Ashton smiled, putting his credit card back in his wallet and standing.

We got back in his car and he started to drive. I was still clueless, but then I saw the big entrance we were approaching,

"What!? Seriously!" I grinned sitting up in my seat. Ashton chuckled and put his hand on my leg,

"I was told that you had never been to a zoo and were wanting to go" Ashton gave my leg a squeeze.

I was out of the car as soon as it was in park. Ashton chuckled and walked around the front of the car with me,
