{ Tatum }

I woke up and headed downstairs to the kitchen where I could hear a ton of commotion. With five people living in the same house, it gets a little loud. I'm a pro surfer so I live in a house with four other surfers. We all have the same management team and we all got along so they got us a house on the beach.

I walked around the corner after descending the steps and stepped into the kitchen. Jasper and Calihan were sitting at the counter, and Layla and Elise were at the table. Everyone was eating.

I walked over to the pantry and opened it up to grab the bagels. There was none in there. I walked over to the fridge to see if we had eggs. There was none. I groaned and turned to my housemates. They all had bagels and eggs.

"Seriously! Nobody saved me any" I whined.

"Sorry Tate. Snooze you lose" Jasper shrugged, "I didn't go to the grocery yet"

I sighed but nodded and I walked back up to my room and grabbed my keys and phone then went and got in my Jeep to go get me coffee and a bagel as I wanted.

I parked on the side of the busy downtown LA street and walked down the sidewalk to the coffee shop and cafe I love.

I walked in and the coffee smell hit me. I grinned and waved to Miss Mary behind the counter. Miss Mary is a cute old woman who owns the shop. She so sweet and would go way out of her way to help you.

"Good morning honey" she grinned and started putting my order in. I come here so often she already knows what I want.

As she typed it in, the bell on the door rang, signaling someone walked in. Miss Mary looked up and smiled,

"Ahh, my two favorite customers are here at the same time" she smiled.

I turned and saw a tall, very attractive guy walk in. His hair was brown and it had some curls to it. He was wearing black jeans and a distressed Guns N Roses shirt with a pair of Converse. He looked oddly familiar though.

"Put mine on with hers" he smiled at me then stepped up next to me and handed Miss Mary his card. He had an Australian accent.

"You don't have to do that" I told him and tried to hand my card over but he grabbed my hand, sending shivers through my body, and assured me it was okay.

"So, Tatum, you surfing this weekend?" Miss Mary questioned as she started making our iced coffee's.

"I am. Down at Huntington" I laughed,

"You're a surfer! That's so cool!" The guy grinned, making Miss Mary laugh, "Oh, Ashton by the way" he then winked.

"You know, I've been waiting for you two to meet. I'd think you two would get along great" Miss Mary smirked and handed us our coffees, "Now why don't you two sit and I'll bring your bagels out" she told us.

Ashton and I both laughed and walked towards the back booth,

"It's okay if I sit here, right?" Ashton asked. I nodded and we each slid into opposite sides of the booth,

"It's Tatum, right? I think that's what I heard Miss Mary say" he giggled, making my heart race a little. I nodded to his question and he hummed,

"You surf? Professionally?" He questioned, once again hearing what Miss Mary said earlier,

"Yeah, I surf for Hurley" I smiled as Miss Mary walked over with two plates, each containing a bagel with chicken, egg, and cheese.

"Oh, Ashton, I forgot to ask, how's the band doing?" She asked. Then it hit me. 5 Seconds of Summer.
