Y/n's POV
I was waiting for Pony at the school entrance. Waiting to confront him about him signing me up for volleyball when I told him I didn't want to one bit. I saw him walking my way and called him "Pony!" He looked up.

I stomped up to him. "Why the hell would you do that Pony!?" I ask. He looked at me confused.

"What do you mean?" He asks. I roll my eyes.

"What do I mean?..I mean when you signed me up for volleyball, I told you no!" I said. The whole team is basically full of soc girls.

"I thought you might like to?..and Darry wanted you to sign up for some extracurriculars...I did you a favour" he says.

"My ass you did me a favour!..ya know what, whatever Pony" I say as I start walking away.

"Hey! Where are you going?..we have to walk together, remember!?" He hollers at me. I shrug my shoulders.

"Well if you can sign me up for a sport I didn't want to do, I'm sure you can handle walking home alone" I holler back as I kept walking.

Maybe that wasn't such a good idea but Pony shouldn't have done that.

Pony's POV
I sigh as I turn around and started walking home. I was honestly just trying to help Y/n out, I thought she liked volleyball.

I walked a couple blocks from school which meant my house was getting closer, until I heard an engine behind me. I didn't look back, but instead picked up my pace.

All of a sudden, The car swerved in front of me and a few socs got out of their mustang.

I stared backing up until I felt a soc push me from behind, back to the other Socs. Next thing I knew, I was tackled to the ground.

"DARRY..SODA" I yell.

"Shut up!" One says. I then felt a hard punch to my right eye. Not long after, I heard yelling from behind me. The gang. I heard Steve's loud voice, hollering at them to get lost. Soda, Steve, Twobit, and Dal chased the socs back to their fancy car as I sat there catching my breathe. I really need to cut back on the smokes.

"You alright Pony?" Darry kneels down beside me. I nod. "Wait!..Where's Y/n!?" He looks a round, thinking maybe she got jumped to.

By now, Soda and the gang were by my side and I was on my feet with the help of Darry.
"She left me" I said.

"She what!?" Darry says.

"She was mad at me because I signed her up for volleyball...then she said I could walk home by myself" I explain.

Y/n's POV
I made my way home. I had token a different route then Pony. I was still mad at him for what he did. As I got closer to my house, I saw tire tracks as if someone hurried out of here. I shrugged it off as I continued walking up to my house.

I opened the front door to be met with the entire gang. Then I saw Pony with a black eyes while he holds an ice pack it. Shit, this is all my fault. I rushed over to him.

"I'm so sorry Pony...I should've walked home with you...or it should've been me that was jumped" I say while examining his face. He looks at me with a sad smile.

"It's okay Y/n...I should've never signed you up for volleyball, if you don't want to you can take your name off the list" he says while taking the ice pack off.

"..I know you were just trying to help..I know...and thanks for that" I wrap him into a hug. I felt so bad that Pony got jumped because of me, it should've been me considering I was the one who decided to walk home alone. I feel so stupid.

Pony hugs me back. Him and I are twins, I don't think we could stay mad at each other for longe then a day anyways.

"Awww, look at the two" Twobit says, referring to Pony and I hugging. I roll my eyes.

"Shut up Two-shit" I say while still hugging Pony. I'm never letting Pony walk home again...I don't care if I'm angry with him, he's still my brother.
