Hey guys so I also have a part 2 of this book going on so go check it out. I just thought I'd still post in this book the odd time because I don't mind and like this book better, so enjoy.

Y/n's POV
I walked into the DX to hopefully find my brother, Soda. I had come to see him and Steve on their lunch break, besides it was the weekend so I wasn't in school today.

Before I could holler for them, I heard the DX front door open. I looked to see..Evie!? Long story short, she cheated on Steve and made his life absolute hell since the day they met. I didn't say anything, but pretended to read a magazine that was sitting on the counter.

I heard the smacking of her gum as I could already imagine the nasty looks she's giving me right now. Just then, Steve came out and saw you. "Hey, Y/n!" He greeted cheerfully. His smile then faded when he saw Evie standing there.

"Evie...what are you doing here? We broke up" he said. "Well this is a gas station isn't it?..just wanted a coke" she said as she strolled her way to the fridge. I looked at Steve and gave him a slight smile. He tried to do the same.

Evie came back over with her coke and put it down in the counter. "That's 78 cents" he says as he opens the cash register. She didn't stop smacking on her gum as she took out some change and gave it to him. I saw her try to grab his hand but Steve yanked it away annoyed. 'Good for him' I thought.

"Look, Stevie..." she said in an innocent voice. "I'm sorry about everything...but I think we'd still be good together" she said. Steve was silent for a moment. "Look I'm sorry but no..you need to leave now" he said.

Her eyes went wide. "Are you kidding me! I try to get us back together, happy again, and you say no!" She suddenly exclaimed which caused me to put my 'magazine' down.

"Just go, Evie" he said quietly as he started to turn around. "Steve!" She yelled as she grabbed his arm and pulled him back. That caused me to stand up. She saw that I stood up with an angry look and turned to me. "What's it to you?...huh!?" She asked the last part loudly.

"Leave him alone, Evie...you dumped him and made his life a living hell! So just leave!" I exclaimed as I went up to them and ripped her arm away from Steve. I was so tired of her at this point. Steve is my best friend so I'm gonna stand up for him.

She then had a shocked expression on her face..not before pushing me back. She slapped me across the face and I heard Steve gasp. I wasn't letting her get away with that as I then punched her across the face as she stumbled back. "You bitch" she said as she held her nose.

"Ya, now get lost!" I say, ignoring her comment. She looked at Steve before walking out as she still held her nose.

Once she was gone, I looked to Steve. "Sorry.." I say, thinking he'll be mad at me.

"It's okay, She deserved it...thanks, Doll" he said as he pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back. "Are you okay?.." he chuckled a little as he pulled away to examine my face where she had slapped me. I nod and smirk "I'm good" I say.

"Y/n?" He asked. I look up at him "ya, Steve?" I ask with my eye brows scrunched. All of a sudden, he smashed his lips against mine. 'Finally' I thought as I kissed back.

We pulled away after 10 seconds. We looked at each other then heard "Wow.." we turned around to see Soda. My eyes went wide and I blushed. "All I can say is, Steve you better not hurt my sister" he said pointing a finger at Steve.
