Y/n's POV
I walk through the front door, slamming it in the process. Everyone in the house turned to me. Ignoring the looks, I stomped my way over to the couch and plopped down in between Soda and Dal.

"What's got you so worked up, Y/n?" Pony asked as he closed his book. I closed my eyes and sighed.

"Shit..don't tell me it's that time of the month again" Twobit groaned as he takes a sip of his beer. Soda slapped the back of his head.

"How are you suppose to know if a boy likes you?" I ask suddenly, sitting up. All the boys looked at me, even more strangely then they already were.

"Ah, here we go again" I heard Steve groan.

"Why?..there a boy at school?" Darry asked with an eyebrow raised. Now he was in full on dad mode, great.

"Maybe...but I don't know if he likes me" I explain as I fiddle with my zipper. All of them didn't know what to say.

"Well ya see, Y/n"- Twobit opens another beer-"when a boy likes you, he'll probably just go up to you ask you out like a normal person" he shrugs.

"And your point?.." I furrowed my brows.

He shrugs "I don't know...maybe he just doesn't like you" he said the last words cautiously as if they might hurt me. Once again, Soda slapped the back of Twobit's head.

"That's not what he means...well, some boys are afraid to ask you out. Do you ever catch him looking at you?" Soda questioned. I heard Dallas crack his knuckles.

"Sometimes...but how am I suppose to let him know I like him?" I ask, looking at Soda for an answer.

"You don't. All boys are assholes, Y/n" Steve answers.

"Steve, you realize you're a boy right?" I raise my brow confusingly.

"Exactly. Which is how I know boys are assholes" he replies.

Just then, Dal cut it "you wanna make a boy fall for you...flirt with him, man" he says as he takes a puff off his cancer stick.

"No, Y/n. Don't do that"-Soda glared at Dal-"just smile at him" Soda gives me a reassuring grin. Dal only puts his hands up before putting out his cigarette.

"Whatever" I shrug, getting up and walking into my bedroom.

The next day~

I was standing at my locker, waiting for Pony, Twobit, and Johnny to meet here so we could all walk home together. Then I spotted the boy I liked at his locker, which is across the hall. I didn't even realize I was staring at him until he looked at me. I smiled at him, he did the same.

Next thing I know, he was walking over to me. I didn't stop smiling yet.

"Hey, Y/n...I was Uh..wondering if you maybe wanted to go out sometime?" He asked. I was shocked and filled with happiness at the same time. "Uhh-I mean yes!" I say. He smiles.

Pony, Twobit, Johnny, and I walked through the front door. I hadn't told the boys yet that I got asked out. As soon as we walked in I stood there and smirked. Everyone noticed and looked at me weird.

"What sis?.." Pony asks.

"The boy asked me out!" I say happily.

"What!?" All of my brothers shout. Twobit came up and flew me over his shoulder while bouncing me up and down.

"You got...yourself...a boyfriend!" He says, bouncing me up and down, making me laugh.

"okay, put me down" I chuckle. He then sets me down respectfully.

"You better tell him I want to meet him" Darry points a finger at me.

What was I thinking? These boys are gonna scare him off!
