Y/n's POV

Dear diary,

Today Josh talked to me. He actually talked to me. I've liked him since grade 3, but he'd never like me. My brothers would probably kill me...and possibly Josh if they found out I like him, or any boy for that matter.

He's just so cute. Josh. I also noticed he looked so darn cute in his new jeans today. I-

Just then, my door flung open. I immediately closed my book and shoved it under my chest. If the gang knew I had a diary, they'd find some way to read it and I would be SO embarrassed.

To my surprise, I saw the whole gang
At the door. Steve walked over to my dresser and was snooping through my jewelry, Soda went into my mirror and started flexing for some reason, and Pony was snooping through some of my books.

"Hey Y/n, we're gonna play football and go to the dingo, wanna come?" Darry asks from the door way.

I shake my head. "Nah I'm good"

"Oh come on Y/n, the teams are gonna be uneven if you don't come" Pony complains.

I roll my eyes. All of a sudden, I felt my book rip from underneath me. I gasp.

"Well, well, well what do we got here?" Two-bit asks, flipping through some pages. "Y/n's diary?"

"No!" I snap. "Give it back NOW!" I demand. I glance at the rest of the gang. Dallas had his famous smirk on his face, along with the rest of them, even Johnny cakes. I try to swipe my book back but it doesn't help.

"Ouuu.. 'Josh looked so cute in his new jeans today'" Two-bit mocks me, reading my diary!

"GIVE IT BACK!" I yell.

"Who's Josh!?" All my brothers just about yell.

"Nobody" I say quietly.

"Josh from school?..the blonde one?" Pony questions. I nod slightly with an eye roll.

"Well we'll be having a little talk with this Josh" Soda says, referring to the whole gang.

"No. You. won't." I sigh, finally snatching my book back from Two-bit.

"Wow..didn't know how much Steve and Daly piss you off" Two-bit chuckles, referring to my diary.

"What!?" Both Steve and Dallas yell.

Let's just say, it was not a fun evening. The whole time we hung out, they were trying to convince me to tell them about Josh. To this day, I never mention him.
