Warning: Negative talk

Y/n's POV (13)
I was walking down the street, making my way back to the house. I had went to the movies by myself today. The movie being straight up boring. Darry made an exception to let me go by myself if I carried a blade. Anyways, I was walking home when I heard footsteps behind me.

I didn't bother to look back, I was to afraid to look back. "Hey grease!" I hear from a girl. I'm pretty sure I recognized that voice. The voice I feared. Her name is Mandy, she goes to my school. She would give me a hard time and pick on me. I always tired to avoid her. I didn't-and haven't told the gang, because what are they gonna do, hit a girl? Darry would want to tell the principal which would just make shit worse. Mandy is in 12th grade and I'm only in 8th grade.

I walked a little bit faster. I heard the footsteps right beside me now. "Hey greaseball I'm talking to you!" She pulls my shoulder back.

"What do you want?" I ask. She ignores my question and starts getting in my face. This is what she does, likes to push people around. She then shoved me up against a brick wall in the alley way, making me grunt.

"You're a slut! A no good..ugly...SLUT!" She shouted in my face. "I bet your dead parents wished they never had a daughter like you, pig!..you filthy-" before she could finish, somebody pulled her off me, and I recognized the figure. Dallas.

"Hey get your hands off me" she protested. Dallas had her by her arm.

"You like to pick on girls half your age don't you!" He might as well have yelled in her face. She looked scared.

"Y-you..you can't hit me. I'm a girl" she says cockily, her head held high.

"Oh ya..."-he leans into her face so his cold eyes are staring into hers-"I hear that you ever come near Y/n again.. It will be a lot worse that just me hitting you" he says dangerously. She nodded shakily as he let go off her arm. She jogged out of the alley way, looking back. Dal watched her the whole time, staring her down. Once she out of sight, he turned to me.

"You okay baby?" He asked. No, He does not mean it in a sexual way, everyone in the gang calls me baby, I guess because I'm the youngest.

"Ya, I'm okay. Thanks Dal" I gulp.

"No problem, kid" He then turns around. "Jump on" he says. I gladly jump on his back as I chuckle. Dal could be such a goofball around me. He started carrying me home.

"Ya know...you're like the little sister I never had" he says.

I chuckle "ya and you're like the...Fourth brother I never had" I say. He chuckles and continues walking me home on his back.
