Will You Be My Always? (PerthSaintPerth)

1.THE START

Saint

Saint finished his work late today and was now heading home. Coming home late wasn't a new thing for Saint, so he climbed upstairs to check on his daughter just to find her already tucked in her bed with Mr.Teddy. He smiled at the cute sight and went to his room. After a quick shower, he changed his clothes and went downstairs to fill his growling stomach.

After the dinner he was now heading back to his room which was right beside Moon's, when he heard some strange noises from Moon's room. He went to check what those noises were, only to find the little princess curled up with her eyes shut tight and sleep talking. She was having a nightmare. Saint rushed to her side and tried to wake her up, she woke up after a minute or two and started repeating that she misses her mom and dad over and over wetting Saint's shoulder. His heart broke at the sight of his little Princess sobbing in his arms.

He hugged her and patting her head saying he's here and he won't leave her and her mother is always with her in her heart. She then heard how worried her father was and immediately apologized to him making Saint confused. "What are you apologizing for, muffin?", he asked. To which she answered that she didn't want to disturb him as he would be tired from his day at work. That sentence broke his heart more if it was possible. His daughter was his priority and he failed to give her the love she needed growing up but she never complained. "When did my little muffin became all grown up ha?", he asked. But before she could answer Saint heard light snores, his princess drifted off to dreamland in his embrace. He then placed her on the bed again, covered her with the blanket, and left her room.

He never wanted to be distant from his daughter but after Alice's death, things were never the same. He submerged himself in workload to keep him sane or else his thoughts would have killed him. He missed her even if it's being 3 years now.

He went to his bed and looked at the frame near his bed. It was the picture of him Alice and Moon, playing in their backyard. "We were in this together, you said then why did you leave us, Alice ?", he cried and the tears which were kept in for too long came flooding from his eyes. He cried himself to sleep that night and promised Alice to be a better father for his daughter.

Perth's POV

It's been 2 months since I and Sammy moved here and adopted Vanilla, he's a rescue pup. It's a decent 2 storey bungalow with three rooms on the second floor, kitchen and living room downstairs, and a maintained garden in the backward. I've heard that the CEO of M. U. Corporation lives in our neighborhood. I guess he prefers simple living.

It's also been a month since I met Nong Moon. She's a total sweetheart, who won my hear on the very first day . I accompany her to her school when I take vanilla out for a walk every morning, she loves him. She talks a lot about her father but I can see how much she misses his company. She often visits our house for Vanilla when I'm present. But in these 2 months I've never seen her father, he must be a busy man as she says but I can see the loneliness in her eyes, when she talks about him and I can't help but feel sad for them. Being a single dad must be difficult.

Perth's Past~

Both his parents unfortunately passed away when he was 11 and Sammy was 7. They were sent to a foster house but the experience for Perth was not good. They were abusive and locked Perth in a dark room for three days on one meal per day. He was traumatized by that experience. Their neighbors heard his cries and reported them to the police. After that, they both were sent to an orphanage.

Where later a couple adopted them. They were a sweet couple who failed to have a child even after trying for 6 years and finally decided to adopt a child. They decided to adopt Sammy but they didn't want them to be separated so they ended up adopting both of them. Their new mom was a self-defense trainer and their dad owned a restaurant in the city. They lived near the outskirts of the city as Shri (their mom) loved nature. They were a happy family of 4. They always made them feel loved. They even helped Perth with his therapy. It helped him a lot with his Nyctophobia but it still affects him. He came out to his parents when he was 21 .he was afraid that they might hate him but they accepted him in the most loving way possible making him love them even more than what he already did.

Their mom left them 5 years ago and their old man left them 2 years ago. So Sammy once again was the only family he had and he loved her more than anything.

Saint

Saint and Alice started dating when they were 19. She was a very kind and loving person. She proposed to him when they were 21. They got married and had Moon the next year. Saint felt that they were the happiest family in the world. He became the CEO of his father's company which his father renamed after his granddaughter.

They were living a perfect life until Alice started falling sick often and was diagnosed with leukemia. Saint was broken after hearing it. Her chemo failed but Saint and Alice never lost hope they tried again but the results were the same. In the end, they had to accept the fact that Alice was going to leave. She left them after a year of her diagnosis.

Saint wanted to die but he can't do that. He can't leave his little muffin alone. But then he started burring himself in work more and more and somehow ended up becoming distant from her.

But now he was willing to move mountains just to show her how much he loved her.
