6.THE WATCH.

Saint's P.O.V

(Monday)

I woke up early today and made Moon some breakfast. My mom messaged me the recipe. I tasted it and it was edible, actually good. I kept it in the fridge with the note on it to reheat it before eating. Went upstairs kissed Moon on her forehead and left with my car keys and essentials. I skipped breakfast as I was already late and it was not a new thing for me.

It is just a 20 min ride from my home to the office. As I was driving I spotted a familiar figure walking down the street. It was Perth with his bag on one shoulder and a black polo looking all hot and sweaty.

Why was he walking though?

I stopped my car beside him and rolled the window, and he stopped noticing my car.

"Oh Phi, Good Morning", he greeted polietly.
"Good morning Doc are you headed to the hospital, hop in I'll drop you off", I said. " Oh Phi, I don't want to trouble you, you can go I'll walk my way it's just a thirty-minute walk", he said protesting. 

Just 30 min! was he superman or something..... God my lazy ass could never, I thought to myself.

"The hospital and my company building is literally two buildings apart, we're heading in the same direction, hop in", I said. He nodded and sat in the car.

It was a bit awkward so I decided to break the silence. "So is everything okay did you get a lawyer for the case?", I asked. " Our family lawyer just passed away last year, so I guess I'm gonna visit yours today", he replied. I just nodded and continued driving.

"Do you usually walk to work every day?", I asked. I'm never this chatty but I don't know what happened to me today. " Nah, I have my car but it's at the mechanic's shop today and Sammy took my bike", he answered.

"Phi, have you had breakfast yet?", he asked. I just shook my head no. He paused and then opened his bag taking a box out and shoved a sandwich right in front of my mouth. I would have refused it but I was damn hungry and it smelled nice. So I hesitantly took it.

"It's edible Phi, I made it; I'm not a bad cook", he said smiling. "What's in this?", I asked. "Oh it's a chicken sandwich with bacon", he said. I was sad after hearing that and gave it back to him. " I'm allergic to bacon", I said. "Oh, take this then, it's without bacon, I don't like bacon so I did't add it in my sandwich, that one was for Sammy", he answered giving me another one. But I didn't take it. "Phi there's an extra sandwich for her too just take it", he said moving his hand forward.

I accepted it and took a bit while driving with my other hand and I had to admit that he is a good cook. It was very delicious. It was not a normal sandwich where you just stack everything and it had a unique stuffing inside. Everything was well cooked and mixed perfectly. "You cook pretty good Doc", I complimented him.

My office came before the hospital so when we reached there we got off the car I gave my keys to the guard to park. He said goodbye and was about to leave when a young girl came towards us.

"Good Morning Doctor Perth", he greeted and Perth turned around to see her. " Aow Sara, what are you doing here?", he said breaking into a smile. He looks cute, no I didn't just think that he was cute. Huff it was nothing, I thought and shook my head.

 "Can't I visit my best friend and my crush sometimes", she complained.

"Don't stress yourself Nong, you know I can't acc-
He was cut in the middle of the sentence when she noticed me "Phi is that Mr.Saint Udomkaewkanjana, oh man he looks even better in real", she said checking us out.

"Hey, where are your Mann-
He was again cut off by her. "Oh my God! don't tell me your dating, God! Why are you so cruel to me, both my crushes dating each other is there anyone left for me" she said fake crying and pointing towards our hands.

I just forgot about it, we were still wearing the same watch. But then she got a call and left without saying anything. Perth looked at me awkwardly scratching the back of his head and said "I'm sorry about my nong, she's Sammy's best friend, she has always been like this". "Okay", I said laughing awkwardly. "About the watch, I'm sorry I can't take it off it was a gift from Sammy for my first day at work", he apologized.

"Moon loves this watch, it was her choice so I can't take it off either let them think what they want to, it's okay," I said. After that, he left for his shift.

"I kinda like what people think", I thought to myself. Saint what the fuck are you thinking to stop it. I shook my head again and entered my company building and took the lift directly to my office floor.

Everyone on my floor greeted me on my way to my office. I greeted them back.
"Good Morning Boss", Yacht greeted me. I greeted him back with a smile before entering my office. Yacht is my secretary and also an old friend.

After a few minutes, he came in with my schedule for the day, and we discussed the work.

"You seem a little different today", he said when he was about to leave. "Like what?", I asked. "I don't know a bit brighter than the usual, I've not seen that genuine smile for a long time now", he concluded. I shook my head and he left.

Then I saw a picture frame of Alice me and moon at my desk.

Good morning Alice, how are you? But I have some questions for you today
Alice is it okay if I like him?
Is he the one I should go with?
Will you accept me?
Will my family accept me?

Is it okay to love again?

It was hard to admit but, I wasn't going to lie to myself now...

Perth's P.O.V

Mr. saint gave me a ride to the hospital today. he was a good company to travel with. I gave him my breakfast and hesitated but took it after some requests. He liked it I can tell that by looking at his face. he must be hungry cause according to Moon her father always skips his breakfast. I was just watching him enjoying the sandwich he looked like a kid when he got his favorite candy after waiting for a long time.

Cute.

But then I noticed that I was staring at him and quickly looked away, thank god he didn't notice it he was too focused on the road and sandwich. what the fuck are you thinking about Ai'Perth. He's Mr.Saint. Saint fucking Udomkaewkanjana. he has a daughter, he had a wife. But why I'm I so attracted to him.

I wouldn't mind what people would say, but would he open up for me....
